no special kit needed. The radio brackets have lower holes so you can just mount it down there.

Dave, Jeff is right, just unscrew your radio and move it lower. It's a little harder to squeeze it into place because of radio wiring, but I think it's a better place for the head unit. Any way to lower the center of gravity of the car helps lol..
If you wanted to make a bezel for the top for gages, that looks like it'll work as long as the bottom portion is removed. I would just angle the cutout holes to make them angled towards you if you want to redo the drawing. Do you have access to cnc machines?

thanks tom....the bracket i was using wouldnt work at all to move it lower (it covered the lower pocket) ive got it all figured out now...after some trial and error and modding the radio bezel...i wish i had access to a cnc...but i dont...i can get something close out of mdf and then fiberglass it all in place for weight savings....lol

I am going both days man! I managed to arrange a dai yoshihara meet and greet with my girlfriend through discount tire lol.. Her bucket list stuff. See ya there, we're staying in Toms creek area for the weekend! I'm not sure if I'm driving the 240 or hardbody. Which would you drive? Keep in mind I like to sleep well at night knowing my '40 won't get stolen.

you mean toms river? lol. that's pretty cool to get to meet one of the drivers. i would drive the s13 :) but that's just me, not really familiar with the car jacking rate in toms river but i'm sure you'll be fine. sleaside is right over there too if you're a fan of that certain tv show, if you're staying around there i'd probably not take the s13 lol. but anyways i'll be there on sat with at least one of my friends. if you want, pm me your number and we'll meet up or something over there at some point.

Sounds good man, yes tom's river lol. Hmmm... I think I should drive the 240, but their stone parking lot and my recent lowness.. lol.

Heyy I have been up to no good with the car. Bought some more crap for it lol. I got these oem canada/jdm? chuki sides from dale in york. Can't wait to sand them down and get some professional paint on them! I will be doing the new bumper, fender, rear bumper at the same time when I get around to buying paint and sourcing who can spray it for me (or if I could do it myself where). Trying to make it look nice by August.

I saw some weldable tube in the hardware store yesterday and thought "why not make my nismo brace now." I also bought some steel the same gage as the tension arm brackets to box them in. I tried to mimic the Johnny fraz brace (by having a tube inside there welded in before boxing) PLUS the nismo brace all in one. It is a bit overkill, but it should be awesome once I get my tension arms from pbm. I am waiting on their LCA+tension arm combo coming out soon. I got carried away with the amount of welds but it's so fun welding I didn't care.

A day before I took these pictures and welded this rear bar on I welded the middle bar on when the brackets were bolted on the car. It bolted right back up as one piece.

I think I have a boost leak somewhere. I replaced a coupler which was worn halfway through, and I checked all my piping for leaks and scars. Found nothing. Wondering if anyone had tips? Maybe the fitting to my boost gage line is leaking.

Proper brace man!

I made my own boost leak tester with a PVC pipe cap that was wrapped in ducttape and drilled a hole and screwed in a tire air nozzle fitting thing from O'reilly's.
I put it in place of the MAF sensor, and I pumped it up with a bicycle tire pump and had my dad spray water and listen for leaks.

I understand completely, and that's an amazing idea! I was wondering how I could do that sometime myself. You figured it out already :D YEssssssss. I will do that soon!

Just signed on to sell some old nissan parts. Figured I'd check in on the Lancaster guys.

Anything new or interesting? WC get that thing running yet? MGE still have the 5 series?

Hope all is well.

Bumnah.

I drifted ECB. First time out trying to clutch kick. Didn't do too bad. I'll post up a vid within a week. Car was not crashed :)

Got a job in Warminster PA, lovin' it. Very excite to be working after graduating.

Spending a lot of time movin' into the new apartment out here. I'm 16miles from Jersey, I might have to see some local 240 people around philly too.

Went to a photoshoot with joel's magnum and a mustang, I should post pics of that and my FD trip. My GF and I got Falken VIP passes so it was amazing, and I got to get close up vids of the cars.

Actually having Matt powers remember you is pretty cool.. He interviewed me and my girl for his silly blog or something on friday.

I'll post up stuff soon.

I usually HATE skirts on 240s, but yours is deffinately one of the few that actually pulls them off. Clean car and sick thread man, keep it up.
