Oh boy good point. Well technically by lowering the car u change the track width a bit. If you can compare your new lca length to ur old oem ones u can try to draw up a triangle between the top of ur coil and the knuckle and lca arm to try and calculate your track width lol. Id say just add ur flca length to the oem arm length and that should get you close enough to drive confidently with. The more adjustments you have though, the harder self alignments become lol.
I managed to do an oil change today, and surprisingly the pan doesn't take more than a gallon of oil still. I could have sworn it did, but if not then that's fine with me, I didn't like buying 2 gallons of rotella once in awhile anyway.
This makes sense though because the FSM states a 3.25 Qt oil change with the factory pan. Tomei r/d factory pan states 600cc additional capacity which equates to about .63 Qts. Thus my new oil capacity is 3.884 Qts, which is probably how much I added tonight.
The best thing about my apartment in Hbg is living 300 feet from an Advance Auto Parts. I went there while I had the drain plug to get a copper gasket for the plug. It had been slowly leaking and making a mess of my skid plate!
I'm loving the low life and scraping everywhere. The bash plate sign and sway bar should keep me safe. I also have plans for welding up my own nismo power brace in the summertime.
Uhhh, if you guys want to theorize how much more of an extended oil change interval you have with this 600cc of added oil capacity, look no further for linear interpolation is very simple!
Plug these numbers into microsoft excel: (you don't have to plug in X, it's just a placeholder helping us realize what we're solving for). Make sure you put the data where columns A and B are and in rows 1 and 2 or the formula below won't work. Lol let me know if you have questions, pm me.
Column| A | B |
1 | 4000 | x | new mileage:
2 | 3.25 | 3.884 | 4780.307692
formula to plug into a cell: =A1/A2*B2 <<Copy and paste this into any cell and it will solve the answer.
As you can see, a rough estimate of ~4800 miles is my new oil change interval when using a 4000 mile interval previously. This does not take any oil life test data into account though and is simply a novelty calculation, but it's fun to think about. For really useful information on your oil, check out

Yes, I change my oil every 4-5000 miles. It doesn't begin to darken that much until then! If I do some hard driving then I change it sooner but I drive a lot of hwy miles.
