Thanks!
Pics that should have been put up last night:
Ready to go...
I actually now have 4 mountain dews bottles full of brake fluid sitting in the garage now...I just hope none of my little brothers or their friends find and drink any of that stuff by accident.
I ended up bleeding all of the brakes
again not too long ago. I was really surprised by how much air was still in those lines and even in two of the calipers. Afterwards, I took it for another test drive around the block (only got up to 30 mph) and it feels A LOT better than it did before...but not quite where I would want it to be, but at least it's safe to drive now. I'll probably have to bleed the brakes one more time with someone helping me this time...
Anyways, I did see an improvement in the stopping power so I was pretty excited about that...
The only concern that I have at this point is some type of rotational noise that is coming from the rear. I don't knoq if it's because of the "new-ness" of the rotors and pads back there. Im hoping once these pads/rotors are broken in more, it'll stop. It kinda sounds something like this:
(when starting to accelerate)
swish........swish.......swish......swish......swish...swish..swish.swish.swishswishswishswishswish...etc.
(Yes, that's the only word I could think of that might describe this noise the best

)
Im curious if anyone else had that happen to them after they put on new pads/rotors.
I will post more pics by the weekend.
