yeah ive seen a few very nicely-done swaps up for sale. the guy that ran rotarymiata.com even stripped his down and is selling his car. they probably know something i don't, but we'll have to see how it works out.

i was both encouraged and discouraged when i saw that this paint color wasnt original, but the rest of the stuff im doing to my car will set it apart, hopefully. i was glad he went with a black roof/a-pillars because i was thinking about doing the same thing before i saw his car a few months ago and its not really my thing.

another "unique" aspect of my car was going to be the polished aluminum hood, and sure enough about a month after i got mine painted someone on CR did this to their car.

thats the great thing about those guys - they are open to trying just about anything and brutally honest with each other regarding their opinions on it.

look for more updates in the next couple weeks.
