I just lucked into a super el-cheapo NA6.

It's mariner blue but it looks like hell, so if I don't flip it, I'll probably respray.

I'm thinking the same flat "battleship" grey that Mark Arcenal used on his S14, but we'll see. That with a black top would look neat.

I like the olive drab, not sure what I think of the teeth, lol.

i have been pretty lazy with this car since getting it painted. i re-did some of the body panels that were looking bad, the top looks a lot better, less "striping" from the rattlecan this time around as i wasn't in any hurry. hood and bumper still need touching up.

what i DID manage to do is find a free 13b to play with. if i pick it up tomorrow morning it will likely sit in the shed where i can play with it and get it rebuilt or whatever. its free so even if i dont need it i can trash it or sell it and not lose anything.

i was also looking for a 1.8 liter to swap into the car soon just to keep it going, although the 1.6 that is in there now seems to be doing okay for 215k miles.

the cressida needs to get done soon, so i set aside a chunk of money and pulled some overtime to get my parts in order and my friend is sorting out the wiring for the 1jz now. as soon as its running well enough to daily im going to start messing with the miata more.

im stupid/crazy for doing 2 projects at the same time.

I'm working on a boso Miata project right now too. I've got a 1996 5spd with a Torsen LSD that I paid $550 for, so I've decided to hack it up with flares, boso pipes, and other wacky shxt.

Want to trade your 1.6L open diff hardware (+$600) for my complete 1.8L Torsen swap (+ driveshaft and halfshafts)?

I'd rather have $600 than the LSD. Usually the Torsens run about $750-$1k for a complete swap.

i think this car has the optional vlsd. im going to have to double check, the only thing im going on in saying that is the seller's word (which i dont take for fact) and driving it. i would like to have a torsen eventually but the cressida needs my money more right now.
