How did you reapply the lettering?

One of those little duplicolor touch up things, brushed it on incredibly carefully, and then used a blade to scrape off any paint that wasn't on the raised face of the letters.

This is my 1992 Q45, its my first car (im 16), and since im posting it here i also wanted to know what color is this red? I got some of my friends asking me what color is it exactly, and all i say is that it looks like a ruby red color. anybody know what color did infiniti call it? Thanks

It's either black cherry pearl clearcoat or burgandy berry pearl clearcoat. Check your paint code on the metal placard in the engine compartment on the driver's side firewall and compare it to the codes in the link. Welcome to NICO.

Just got a 94 infiniti q45 .. getting it painted black right now its a dark green

DJ2 is a great color. Might learn a little more about Infiniti paint before you make that decision certain.

im new to owning a newer nice car. i had a 78 continental and thought i knew luxury but after recently purchasing a 92 q45 i realize the scope of my ignorance.i got the car from a junk yard for 900, it had been wrecked and had body damage on the passenger side. it does still drive, and well but sometimes when i start the vehicle i get a trans malfunction on the readout, i turn the car off and back on and its fine. the parking break is broken so the car is always using the park gear as its only parking break, i do park on a hill, could this have anything to do with the trans malfunction? thanks in advance for the advice.

Awww. As a driver of a black G50, I resent that statement. My car looks great when wet, at night, from a distance, even when it's dirty.

Don't get me wrong, there isn't anything wrong than black. Its still up there in my favorites, way higher than alot of other colors *cough~burgandy~cough*. excuse me

i just ordered the 1st gear tcu upgrade, and panda garage has a president kit in the same color, i cant seem to find any red interior to replace my broken pieces with. sux.

some punk@$$ broke in to get the stereo and destroyed my lower cluster cover and didnt even get the stereo.
