Real Real nice.Should've been black interior though that's my taste. Well hope to seeing how the car goes. The meaty tires and deep dish rims what are they?Makes the car look beasted out.

Actually what happened was we had this 94 and another 96. And someone ran into the 96 and totaled it so my brother who had the car befor me liked these better so he tooke them from the 96.

Hey all you G50 guys and girls. I have some sad news. A ice storm hit my area and caused a lot of damage. And guess what happend?? Yep my nice 1992 Q45 was damaged. A tree branch smashed my roof /front fender and my insurance company won't cooperate. They love using the phrase "It's a17 yr old JAPANESE CAR"!! ..I look back at them and try to explain ,but they just dont respect it like i do.. .They only want give a amount of money for repairs. So ...unfortunaly I might be forced to get rid of it. So it's like this..maybe if someone is interested in it look me up [email protected] -I'm in Evansville Indiana I will try to get pics and a video on here of before and after. It's not even really that bad..

Pretty soon mine will look just like that. I'm having a shop fix all the minor blemishes and stuff and I'll be lowering it as well.

Quick question though. Do you have any issues driving with the coilovers? As far as bumps in the road, potholes, speed bumps and stuff? I was considering an air system so I could adjust it in the face of an obstacle, but if the coilovers aren't much of a problem then I may just go that route.

One of my main concerns is how to deal with driveways once it's lowered.

These Q's are amazing cars and really have a strong following and no wonder why....

Hard to imagine that they no longer have the Q line anymore.

Here is my baby...

VIP, love those wheels!

Your Q appears to be in lovely shape.

What size are the wheels? If they are 15", who makes them???

hard to say because what's bearable (or mandatory rather) to me might be unacceptable to you. there are some places i just simply can not go and others that take a little finessing. keep in mind mine are lower than your average coilover setup and will be going lower with the addition of some new parts (hybrid air/coil if i get my way).

but honestly, if it concerns you you might want to go with a milder drop. for me it's get it low and then figure out the rest.

Man. Looks great!

I wouldn't mind going that low. I guess I'll just have to park on the street.

What wheels are those? I love the look.

Quick question, when and if I roll the fenders, will I have to remove the liners?

you can keep the liners when you roll your fenders. i oprginally had the rears still in but was getting some rubbing so i yanked em out.

Is a JHG50 owner welcome here?

Here is a recent pic of my car, with my proper JDM headlights installed. I'll take some better ones when there's a break in the weather

Of course you're welcome here. Beautiful car man.

When I move to Canada, I think I'll just buy a President to keep there and keep my USDM G50 here for when I come back and forth.

I've been a bit worried about how I'm going to be able to keep a G50 in Montreal and St-Catherine. My uncle has a Malibu that's been destroyed by salt. His Mazda CX-7 is holding up way better though.

I hear you, the salt is brutal back east. I would love to know someone else out there has a president!

Right now it seems like I'm the only one...

Wouldnt it be cool if there was an electric variable height suspension system that could raise and lower a car without any sounds, no air leaks, and have a cool control panel to manage it by?

Then we could easily come closer to having our Infinities looking as cool as Black-on-Black's Q.

I love that low GT look, but I would need my baby to raise up a bit to clear speed bumps and curbs.

a q45a with a suspension controller is something along those lines. i'd like to see one of the guys who knows what they're doing as far as custom suspension give that a shot. it's been done before but was poorly documented. i believe rasrx7 might be working on this as we speak but i could be mistaken.

a buddy of mine was talking about picking up a q45a since he needed something practical (family car wise) but wanted something adjustable.

i personally have a much more elaborate plan to get mine lower as well as add some adjustability.
