1. Singing like a tard
2. Picking my nose
3. Fapping
4. Getting dome
5. Oggling womens
6. Swearing violently at crappy drivers
7. etc.

Purely personal preference, but I like it. Basically any level of tint will aid in environmental issues and reduce the need for A/C in the summer.
I understand personal preference. I guess I'm more cautious as I wouldn;t want to risk a ticket or give a cop an easy excuse to pull me over. But looking at the other reasons, I agree with 2,3,4 but I think I might disagree with you on the other ones.

1. I feel that has nothing to do with tint. I would think you just close the window if you sing badly. Personally, I probably should have soundproof glass installed for my singing.

5. How can you ogle womenz if they can't see you thru the tint?

6. As a northern NJ native, I guess I'd prefer if the idiot that I'm flipping the NJ international symbol of welcome (the middle finger) can see me. But I suppose there might be those that want anonymity and are concerned about retaliation.

Keeps me honest. No drinking and driving allowed since I could easily be pulled over at any time. (not that there aren't other reasons to not drink and drive)

But some of us look legit mental whilst doing so.

Ok, this will take a bit more explanation. How do you know they're hot at first? You don't. You have to look. So what happens when you're checking for hotness and she ends up being a complete uggo? Now, imagine during the time (albeit short) where you are determining that she's less than attractive she catches your glance. Now, the manatee is thinking you're hitting on her and wants to talk. I suppose I could then explain her flaws to her, but I'm too lazy. I'd rather look away quickly and throw up in my mouth.

Ah, so things only fall into one of two polar opposite ends of the same spectrum. Got it.

It depends on your viewpoint. If you can afford the absolute best then yes, everything less then that is cheap crap.

3M tint is mediocre crap with an excellent warranty. I had it on my Station Wagon. Cost a whopping $119. Never had an issue with it.

But compared to the very high quality stuff this is truely crap. The amount of heat blocked and UV protection isn't even close!

Cheap tint is for looks. Expensive is for function. IIRC Greg did a writeup on a Hüper tint job he had done.

Based on that same scale criteria (either being the ultimate or crap), which end of the spectrum would you place yourself on when it comes to the scale of intelligence? Genius or retard?

Many traffic laws are written by retards for retards. Know-nothings write legislation expecting know-nothings to blindly follow. I seriously suggest challenging the law and/or getting a lawyer. You WILL lose and you WILL waste money, but you seem to have some of it to spare. You'll get an expensive lesson in life, government, obedience, and the legal system and maybe learn to think about the world around you and how to change it.

Maybe, for once, you'll learn to care about things besides subs, tints, and unsuccessfully getting laid.

Sure ya were.. I have never had any issues with my window tint. It keeps my interior a ton cooler looks nice and kills the glare. The film is thick and doesn't scratch or peel easily. Why in the hell would I need to spend a s*** ton more to get your supposed non crap tint. Greg lives in AZ, I could see why he would shell out the extra to get the best of the best. That makes since. Your thoughtless untrue posts don't. There are a ton of tint options that are very good quality and will last forever for way less than 300. Why do you insist on posting your s*** garbage in every thread you see? I want to kick your dad in the nuts and your mom in the box for spawning you. :slap:

Are you freaking retarded?

I got a deal because I know the guy, but I got 3m tint on 7 of the 8 windows on my Max for $150. The guy and and a assistant did it while I watched in under 2 hours. They were pros.

The tint AND the install hold a lifetime warranty.

That means nothing. 3M makes mediocre tint.

There are some instances when paying more truely gets you a better product. This is one of those times.

3M does make a mediocre tint. This I know. Hence all these sub $300 installs.

I am considering it for a recent purchase (thread to come), however, but said purchase was $300 and I'm not throwing ceramic like the F1 Pinnacle on it.

What would you say is the best budget tint, PMQ?

3m is fine on a budget. I didn't say it wasn't.

Relative to the high quality stuff it is still crap...

To block the same amount of heat you need a much darker tint with budget tint . This sucks as you quickly get in to illegal levels.

OK, so I read through most of this thread and have a couple simple questions that were never asked.

1) Did Nala pass state inspections with the tint on?

2) I know a lot of cops and have been pulled over a ton of times in a bunch of states (Mass. - GA) in my life with and without tinted windows (15% bar across front window 30% driver and passenger doors, 15% all other windows on an '84 Olds Cutlass Supreme (RIP)), and not once have I ever been cited for tint, you had to have been doing something stupid to grab his attention.

3) If your town (http://www.mountkisco.org) pop. 9,983 (2000 census) has no crime I'll eat my hat, plus if they have to use traffic stops to pump up their revenue then there is something very wrong with that statement. You live in West Chester County buddy, you're right outside of NYC, and as such while it's home to a ton of rich and famous it's also home to practically every major crime boss in the NYC area.

Oh and if your town's Police Department is hiring I'm so putting in an application just to harass you, but seriously your town has a Domestic Violence Section, this tells me that you live in a town full of wife beaters... just saying.

This. I'm still Illinois at heart, but as soon as I moved to Indiana I threw illegal tint back on my car. Been here a bit more than 6 months and the police have yet to look twice.
