i didnt buy my bd tuner to save money on gas lol. With the premium tune my car shreads thru gas, its does help that i drive like a complete @ss. but yeah i havent tried the driving coach and dont intend too.

As posted previously the guys from "trucks" test the tunes and the driving coach and they showed a positive gain with the driving coach.

i gun it at every light and slam my breaks at stoplights. the gf hates it haha

This just in. BD Tuner may affect your romantic relationships...

Carry on...

Mehdi, glad you finally got this to work. Those who buy this thing after page 25 should be in the clear with no issues

I don't know if 220-250ish HP is enough to get the A/C to 180. Kind of interested. Don't kill yourself though.

I'm gonna poke the bear again, we still have no solid proof....a butt dyno is like a quebec blowjob, overpriced, and left wanting...come on Mehdi, I love you, show me some numbers.

Why are you so hard up for numbers? You won't buy one anyway...you're a non-modded big mouth with no positive contribution.

lol, nice, I get it...

Btw, SERIOUS QUESTION...

Is this still the place to buy it?

http://www.truckaddons.com/Cat...t.htm

It says $399 but I remember a thread talking about how the discount price was around $347. Is this still true or no? How do you get the discount?

Well, it said discount was $347 then further coupon discount was $307. I was just wondering if they were offering either any longer? Is this the only site we can order from?

Those jokers at truckaddons took care of me and a bunch of others. Give them your money. 307 is a sick deal jump on it.

They are still offering it.

They probably won't send you a tracking number unless you ask for it. I got mine in about 5 business days.

+1. I'm very interested in this product but I am holding out for a little bit in the hopes that in a month or so everything will be worked out. Overall, all reviews seem positive and thats good to hear.

SBD - yeah u did offer money and all that, but its the way he went about it. Being a rude jerk will only get you ignored. Im with S-Confucius.

What was your offer again? Dyno runs? im 2 scared to drag it, and my number would be bs anyways.

I am so confused. What is the absolute latest update for the 2007 2.5? Mine works but is there another update out?

$25 for back to back runs on a 1/4 mile. That should cover any entrance fees. And there shouldn't be any A/Cs, including Blakes, that break the helmet speed limit, so yeah...

If Mehdi wants to take the $25 to dyno it, that's even better. Though before and after dyno runs will likely cost closer to $100-$150 depending on the shop.

$100-150 sounds a bit steep. theres a few places down here in Central FL that you can do an hr of runs for like $75 or you can do like 2 or 3 runs for like $50

Need a minimum of 2 pulls per tune. 3 would be ideal.

Every shop is different. The ones I'm thinking of charged around $80 for 3 pulls.

Anybody else want to chip in and send Mehdi some monies? I'm doing it for the betterment of the forums. I won't be getting one of these because I want a custom UpRev tune.

EDIT:

When I got my G dynoed the first time. They did two "warm up" pulls and the numbers started around 250 hp and ended up at 273 for the final pull. Each of the pulls varried 2-3 hp.

Second time on the dyno had the same results. 2-5 hp variance, but the dyno was already warmed up from previous cars.

And btw, does it really feel like there's 30 more pounds of torque? That's a significant increase.

ok guys , wont be able to do the dyno it's too expensive.

now that i've been riding a couple of days with it, let me tell you that you definitely feel the inceased pull and the torque curve get more linear and less spikey at around 3.5 4.5krpms everything feels more smooth and powerfull and the idle is smoother too. definitly worth the money if you have exhausts, headers, y-pipe, intakes etc.

I'll try to do some 0-60 and 1/4 mile with the built in accelero meter in the tuner and I'll give you guys an update.

For now, all my internals are stock. I was thinking it would be a better idea to get this in order to measure my progress after getting various bolt ons.

ive spelled it out on here b4 and dont want to again, if you go to the site and dig around you can find the codes or just call them.

YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GET 30 FT LBS TQ. Its not gonna happen, but you will feel an increase in power. Its like adding a header. Nothing super but def worth the money.
