I would imagine there would have to be some difference in power. I'm now somewhat eager to get this, as long as we can still get some kind of deal on it. I realize $307 might not be possible but the $347 would be nice.

Well I shot out an email to Robert at BD and did a read receipt and I know he got the email. That was a couple of days ago. Perhaps he's trying to work out another deal in where we can get it again for $307. But we'll see..

As for the difference..well I guess that's an individual thing. I hear from one member that they hardly noticed anything and then I heard from another member they can feel a slight difference, especially when they are passing people in the country roads.

I also would have to think that this unit will "enhance" what ever tuning mod you have already in the coupe. So if your putting this on a stock AC 3.5 CVT you're probably not going to feel the difference as if you were putting it on a 3.5 CVT with intake, y-pipe and full cat back,..like mine I wish there was a dealer close enough I can do a try before I buy...

Some where in the the 20 pages or so of this thread they said that they do not allow the try before you buy for nissans or this unit.

The try before you buy is from Bully dog, they will send you a unit and you have 30 days to return it.

Pull the trigger already big d!!!

Ok, question. Is there a version 1.3 firmware and a v1.4?Someone a few pages back that 1.3 seemed more for 0-80 and 1.4 more for top end power?

1.3 is what it comes with the updates are all in the 1.4 if 1.3 doesnt work you have to use the 1.4

I really don't believe they are different in performance part since it was all butt dyno of that person.

Finally got mine to work. And after a night of driving around with the tune I can honestly say I feel a difference, is it what I expected no. There is some more tug at the steering wheel then before. I had a friend who did a JET CHIP reflash and he has to wait almost 100 miles before he could really feel the tune, so iam gonna wait a little before I pass judgement, I also plan on getting her dynoed soon.

Ok so I pulled the trigger this morning and bought the damn thing! Best of all, I found it cheaper on the net and they priced matched it! $325 shipped. I tried to get the additional $30.00 off but it was one or the other. Oh Well, I feel like I got a good deal so whatever

Are you happy now Danny...?

good man,

keep us posted.

When you dyno you can set it back to normal tune right? That way you can do before and after to check gains?

Who price matched? Tell me what you did to get it for that price since I'll bite that bullet too.

Truckaddons.com priced matched the lower amount. Click on the bold "cheaper" on my post on the previous page and it'll bring up the web page. Then call truckaddons and tell tehm that you want to order item#40410 but you found it cheaper. They'll bring up the item and then they'll ask you for the competitors page ( http://www.ourdealsrock.net/931-40410.aspx ) on their site it's listing for $332.96 so I'm not sure how he got the amount of $325 but I ain't arguing... Maybe they applied another discount like we'll match the price and take an additional 5%? Call em up and order it!

You filled out a form? I didn;t..I called up and spoke to a sales rep and told them I wanted to purchase the BD GT tuner but I found it cheaper. He took care of the rest!

I called, the guy told me to go to the form on their web site. I called about 20 mins before they closed so I guess he didn't wanna deal with me hence the reason he said "We'll handle it in the morning", lol.

Maybe it helps when you talk to a saleswoman who didn't know what was going on and has the mindset of "yay, 5% off everything, yay". She had to call Bullydog to make sure they sold it for non Diesel vehicles.

Well according to a lot of guys on here it's working for the 3.5 with good results. Honestly, that's all I'm really interested in. I believe there are guys on here with the 2.5 that said its working for them too. Pull the trigger like I did and buy it

Instead of starting a new thread, ill just post here.

For those of you with the bd tuner - how did you install the hdmi cable?

I was in philly the other night, so i unplugged the tuner and threw it in my center counsel.

I havent put it back on the holder since then, but my hdmi cable is chillin on the floor. I took the fuse cover off and wound it up around the cover. It looks like @ss.

I honestly would like to pull the trigger but is it worth it? the comments i last saw in this thread were all negative about the results, the only plus was removing the limiters. For the money why not buy an engine mod like the pulley where your guarenteed results? .....thats my debate

I called TruckAddOns and they said it's shipping tonight, so hopefully I'll have it by Wednesday if I'm lucky but no later than Friday I'd suspect. And dangeris, what accessory did you order?

MY GT Tuner came in today! .

For those who have already gotten..what's the process to install. I know I'm being lazy... Do I need to go out to the website and download the current engine code then upload that code into the tuner then upload that into the car?
