hmm, can someone explain to me the differences in having a 2.25" to 2.5" to 3"? there was a post somewhere in this thread talking about having to get the 3" cause of turbo... really? i'm trying to stay under the cop radar and go stock look all over but have a sleeper. 22" resonator is a definite for less noise right? AUGH I WANT THIS EXHAUST!!

oh one last thing... what's BMR's website?

i have a 2.5 alum exhaust with 22" resonator and it is NOT quiet. the resonator is a straight through design. go with the dual tips and paint the muffler black. i went with a single tip and already got pulled over for it. But the sound is sweeet.

This looks like the exhaust I've been looking for. Not too loud, looks semi-stock. I'm getting excited just considering buying it. Damn. Good prices. It does say anything about single or dual tip on the site. Do I just ask for which I want?

I have had my exhaust for 3 weeks in NY and have not gotten a second look from the COPS. NY is pretty much just as strict as CA. Just make sure you get the resonator if you have headers. Without headers this exhaust was very quiet. If you want a live sound clip, contact me.

I have DC Headers. Why would it be louder with new headers? Just because they're less restrictive? Is it that much different than stock headers? If I got a resonator would I get it through BRM?

Sorry, I just realized there was information about cats on the first post. Does anyone have any information about the different sizes? Sounds clips? Thanks

I'm in NY too and haven't had any issues with cops yet. I've got a 2.5" with the resonator.

Man....I love my BRM and all, but I keep getting all these strange smells. Sometimes it smells like straight up sulfur, other times I get a sort of burnt metallic smell, and today it smelled really musty. Very much like the way a horse smells....

The guy that installed it for me said that it's normal for the system to smell for a little while, but damn. It's REALLY smelly.....almost to the point of being embarrassing. >.<

-And all you pervs, I'M TALKING ABOUT THE EXHAUST.

This Is A Great System. Performance, Payment, Shipping, and Shipping Details all are first rate and as advertized. Highly recomended for anyone looking for a "riceless" euro sound with and tack quality performance. NICE JOB!!!

So after two years of listening to the annoying sounds of a rusted exhaust system, I broke down and ordered a BRM exhaust system from Greg @ Nico.

I was looking for something not too loud, but good performance, and it seemed the best fit, even if it was a bit pricey.

2.5" tubing16" resonator4" tip

Review:

Performance: B+ Drastically improved mid range power on stock KAE over rusty leaking stock exhaust.

Sound: A Deep sound, virtually no high pitched sound untill 4000rpm, very streetable. Slightly droney at highway, but, its a 4cyl haha.

Fit: N/A I had to take a sawzall to the hangers in the back to get it to fit, and the tip hit the bumper, why n/a? well the bumper is pushed in about 4 inches, and down 2 inches from where it should be (probably irreversible damage, hidden though)

Visual: C- N/A looks wise, i really wish i had gone for the twin 2.5" tips, the 4" tip looks much bigger than i expected, but it is nice and in line, none of that stupid looking angled stuff, looks like it should be there, but it looks better when its in the right spot, its sitting too far outward due to the damage. Looks better with the muffler painted flat black, havn't done that (yet)

Quality: B- Flanges look like they could be on a fighter jet, hangers could support the car, welds are thick. Could be cleaner, but we were warned of that

Greg is there any chance I could get everything from the cat to the muffler... without getting the actual muffler? I like the dual tip but I really had my mind set on a specific Borla turbo muffler because I like the single outlet look without the 4" tip. If this is possible I'd love a quote for the cat, stainless 2.5" with resonator right to where the muffler starts. Thanks for any help, I know how commited you are to the Nissan community

Central Ops moved within the Phoenix Metro area. Manufacturing locations still remain in S Florida and SoCal.
