still sounds kind of raspy for a "quiet" exhaust.... the single outlet exhaust is a little better.

Dunno why you got a raspy sound... mine is all throat.

Though "quiet" is the understatement of the century apparently, lol. But don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining.

Be sure to replace your gaskets. Gaskets are not to be reused and can leave you with a raspy leaky sound.

Probably didnt get the big resonator. Friend of mine has one with a smaller resonator, and the dual tip muffler.

Im not that familiar with resonators. So the bigger the resonator, the quieter the exhaust will be?

do all of the 3" ones have a rasp 5-6k? I was listening to Youtube ones and they all seemed to have bit of rasp at 5-6,000 rpms...don't know if that's just a microphone problem or the exhaust or just interior resonance.

I get an interior resonance sometimes around 4k (solid mounts, nismo mounts) that's minor.

Just ordered mine and I can't wait to get it. Greg was a lot of help when it came to picking out the right components. I can't wait to install it!

EDIT: Shipping was incredibly fast, ordered Sunday, received it Wednesday! Looks very well done and I can't wait to install it tomorrow.

I'm looking to order the 2.25 with a dual tip; not sure on the resonator though. I'm not sure if it would be to loud for normal driving without one...

I got it installed last night and man, it sounds really good! Hit the throttle and it sounds perfect, not raspy, just low and mean! Cruising at seventy on the interstate and I could barely hear it.

Well i've got the 3" BRM exhaust duel tip for the s13 everything seems to be right except for one problem, it hangs really really low.

I dont know if the exhaust is supposed to hang this low but there is at least 1.5-2" gap fom the rear sway bar.

There is still a 1.5" gap from fender to wheel.

Any help appreciated,Alex

Are you using new hangers or the ones that have been on the car for nearly 20 years?

That's the usual issue.

Also, tucking a straightened-out 3" exhaust into a space designed for a 2" convoluted pipe is going to result in less clearance, nno matter what.

If neither of these is the case, and something's wrong, I'm here to help. Always have been, always will be.

If you mean the three rubber pucks with holes, yes i have replaced those. I dont know if this is normal but there is a least a 1 1/2 inch gap from the bottom of the car and the exhaust and all my hangers are good, even the one in the front.

Could azhitman do a sound test of sorts with this setup? It is also cheaper priced I think... so would be an interesting option...

That would be great if we could get real test results. I've heard all Nascar cars use it.

I was selling my exhaust bc i totaled my car and sent the buyer a vid of my car, figured id post it here as well. stock 240, just intake and the 2.5" with 18 inch resonator and 2 tips. i loved this exhaust on my car, it never hung low at all for me. sway war clearance was iffy but never had a problem bc of it.

Sweet about time someone had a nice clean dual-tip exhaust that isn't a $30 can from ebay. Anyone have picks of the exhausts side-by-side to the stock one?

No need.

It's not cheaper, it's unproven, and we're not dealing with 700-hp race cars here.

I'll put what we build up against anything on the market in a head-to-head dyno shootout, including "gimmicky" mufflers.

Only one team runs these to my knowledge. Just because a company *sponsors* NASCAR doesn't mean the crews choose their products.

You won't be disappointed with the exhaust. It just sounds so good and looks so nice - the added power is good too!

The canister muffler was on the 3" system on my GSX and it sounded great.

I am very interested in this exhaust for my 90 240sx. My question is which size do you recommend for my car? My motor is the KA24DE. Thanks for any suggestions!<3Kim
