If he doesn't want the steelies, I'll take them off your hands.

Btw, does anyone know whether or not driveline issues could affect acceleration? Ok I know that was really vague so I'll clue y'all in more. You may recall me mentioning a thumping sound coming from the rear of the car. I first thought it to be differential issues, but someone suggested that the U-joints may be wearing out especially since the noise seems to be consistent with driveshaft rotation speed(but more noticible when vehicle is in neutral). Let's just assume that's the problem (or at least part of it), when I'm running through the gears the car and really just driving any other time the car feels jerky. I was thinking it was still an A/F issue but it makes sense that if there's slack in the driveline, there would be a direct relationship to power delivery. Any ideas are welcome.

Brandon your motor is here. The guy already got rid of the radiator, so we'll have to pick one up somewhere.

congratulations pat, your car has the shiit demons. It's one of those things where there is a vacuum leak somewhere, or some sensor or something is bad. My cousin's 2001 Chevy pickup is suffering from something like this, as is the Dodge ram I have at my house that is my boss's old truck, not to mention the black 240 you sold me. I wish I could help you out. You need to check everywhere for vacuum leaks, I'm sure cygnus had the obvious ones covered, but I'd still check everything. I guess it could be the valve cover gasket or the maf sensor... that's all I got, maybe someone else could add to it.

I've been taking care of all three kids tonight by myself so I'm passing out.... now.

love the sig jordan. Maybe we should all do that. Take pics of our cars facing the left and put them in our sig. Sounds gay but I think it would be cool as hell.

Pat your motor is probably ok, you just need to work on some details. you could in the junkyard for a 240 you can start jackin stuff off of I guess.

I thought this car was running good and everything was cool, what happened?

7Well guys, we took it to my friend Justin's house and played with the car a bit, found out the MAFS is no good. We also played with the idling for now so that she wont cut off on me for now. Im planning on taking it to school and checking the o2 sensor with a voltmeter. Next after that is taking the cat off and replacing it with a straight pipe.

Will also be replacing the rubber hoses around the fuel pump and tank

I don't know, not sure how interested I am in them, it will probably cost me over $200 to get them recovered like I want them but I'd probably give like $40 for both fronts if you couldn't get more for them. I'm tempted to ask you what you want for the whole car because I can't stand to see one go to the junkyard when it is still useable, but I can definitely see it's rough on the inside. I think you have to use the S15 core support to do an S15 front end conversion, so it would be the perfect shell for that.

btw your car looks pretty sweet now, what color you going to paint it? I have a brother in law who works for his dad's body shop who is dying to practice his painting skills, if you don't already have somebody.

Hey Dalzell240,Do you know if it has a LSD rear end. I'm not completely sure if the SE came with it or not. If it is and you're willing to part with it for a reasonable price give me a holla. My other choice is a J30, but the gearing is about 4.01 to1. A little on the short side. I think the 240's are like 4.10 or higher. If you know, it would be great.
