pat, i went thru at least 4 sets of plugs since jan, and three o2 sensors. the one that are in now have only been in about 3-4 weeks. but with how rich its been running, im sure they have been fouled out again. take them out and check. with the last vaccum line being plugged, a new set of plugs and o2 'should' correct the rich idle.

yeah I'd like to see pics, I may still take them off your hands if you'll sell them cheap, then I'll see about taking them to be recovered. Other than the outer fabric, would you say that the foam and the rest of the construction of the seats is ok?

gointopless240- I'll take em. I MAY have found some fronts for $50 apiece mounted and balanced, but by the time I get the wheels in my possession they may be gone. Did you say you were heading to Atlanta this weekend? If so, depending on which way you go I'm right on your way so maybe we can meet up. I'll send you an email though.

Well, i fixed the starter switch problem Dan. Rewired the damn thing from the battery to the switch. I also found a few more VAC leaks. The hose you had plugged up seemed to be a Fuel line and also was long and i found the "can" (one on drivers side fender) had not been connected. it said "Fuel Hose" with a blue dot on it so i connected it to that. There were a few more leaks that i didnt have time to get because i dont like working too much in the dark unless i have a garage of some sort.

pat, the line that goes to the charcoal canister needs to be plugged as per this link that i used for the egr removal http://www.project-mayhem04.co...html here is the highlighted paragraph

"...Below the pipe you can see one vaccum hose that comes out of the intake manifold, makes a curve (upsidedown U) and goes into a metal pipe (next to the fat rubber hose). This is a vaccum that goes up towards the front, that USED to be used for the charcoal canister. Remember to follow this line and mark which one it is up front, because this vaccum will need to be plugged (or used for your BOV if you want to be crafty). If you dont plug or use this line, your idle will be very high and it will take you forever to find out why."

it def seemed to settle down a bit when i pugged that line up.

the only reason i wired the start switch to a switched 12V source was so it wouldn't drain the batt with the ground in the harness pull straight off the batt constantly

good luck w/ it, and let me know how you make out. ill post some pics of the beast i picked up to replace her

dalzell240- if the price is right I may take them off your hands, but it would have to be dirt cheap because recovering them may cost a good bit. I didn't realize they were leather. How does the back seat look?

Anybody in here know what it costs to get some seats recovered? Leather or cloth or fake leather, I don't care.

If you do a good job on your own, you may have a good side business here. I'd definitely rather fork cash over to somebody I know than just some random person. Just remember you need to use as heavy duty of materials and thread you can find... I would guess.

the doors are already spoken for. Can't believe they were the first things.

Pat, there's a set in Brandon's coupe, the drivers seat is broken, but I don't think he needs them. Unless he says differently you're welcome to them.

btw I like the pic in your sig, especially since one of those cars is mine now! might want to check the spelling of 'laguna' on the car portion of your profile

I'll check the little things ofcourse before i drop the tank. but other then that its treating me very well. Just ready to fix the problems right now. I've gone through like half a tank of gas in a day and i didnt drive much at all. Hopefully i can get this worked out here in the next week

Idk, i think i like the sound of Laguan better. lol. Well, the next time we get together and if Brandon is alright with it, i'll take one of the seats.

hey guys just wondering if anyone had any five lug wheels lying around that they're trying to get rid of.. I have an altima but i'm doing a five lug conversion, and i'm looking for some thing in a 16 preferrably. I've also got some parts off my altima that some of you guys may be able to use (i.e.- electric radiator fan. direct fit to the 240 radiator, cools better than the stock mechanical fan, and takes rotating load off of your engine. let me know if you're interested.

I've got a set of 15 inch maxima wheels with michelin tires on them. they are the ugly ones that came on the 95-96 gxe-gle. The michelins are in pretty good shape, at least 2 of them are anyway. I'll let em go for $75 picked up.

Wuz up everyone, I'm back again just checking in. CONGRATULATIONS PAT!!! I'm digging the new ride man, I like that color a lot too. I'm glad that you decided not to give up on the 240 vision of World Domination I'm down for a meeting. I know I missed the last one, but I should be able to make it to the next one just fine. James, I may want to get those taillights from you for my project. I was gonna do kouki tails but they're soooo expensive I may just do zenki's.
