yeah lets go ahead and supersize that. Just shoot me an email with a price and if you wouldn't mind, find out what guiedo wants for his stuff. If it helps my cause any, tell him I'm willing to haul off the rest of the car or just take the parts, whatever he prefers, and whatever will get it cheaper. Tell him I know a guy with a truck and trailer (his name is turstin ) you've seen this shell first hand so you can understand me not wanting to put a huge dollar amount into it. I wouldn't mind stealing all the wiring out of it also.

and the piece I'm talking about is the one missing in my S14 remember? the metal piece that seals down the rubber one. It has 4 bolt holes and is flat and round. I don't think it matters whether it is for an S13 or S14. I had one that came with my engine, the guy threw it in, but then somehow I lost it

How's it coming on that coupe, do you have the head gasket changed out yet? Are you any closer to legalizing the S14 yet? I really think you need to make some phone calls to someone at the GA dot...
Check your email.

I'll talk to Guiedo about his stuff tomorrow.

Yeah I know that Turstin guy to, did you know that he has 3 240s and he can't drive a single one, the poor guy.

I remember what ring you're talking now, I'll jack it off randy's car, he won't notice if its missing. Do you want the screws to?

I haven't even started on the coupe yet as I don't really want to start on it until Guiedo and I get further along with his car(at least get his sr bolted into his new shell) I haven't really done that much with the s14 lately as I've been kind of busy and realy just haven't had the time, I was thinking of looking into getting a title through TN since my brother lives there, and I have been thinking af making some phone calls to the GA dmv.

KaChris803, did you get your fenders off?

James I think you should make the dash in your 240 something like the dash in this 240.

that sounds pretty good as long as guiedo doesn't want too much for his parts. Actually that's perfect because I could use the extra time to compile some extra funds so that I don't break the bank all at once.

Sure, just let me know how much you want for the trouble of shipping it to me and I'll paypal it to you and send you my address.

that looks pretty cool, but expensive at the same time. Are you sure that's a 240?

So, I got some time to screw with the coupe today and did a compression test, it wasn't pretty, 1) 120, 2) 30, 3) 30, 4) 60. Upon further inspection I noticed that the radiator is bone dry(dust came out when I took the cap off), so my guess is that the car over heated big time, demolished the head gasket, most likly warped the head, and/or fried some rings. So James I might need to keep the ka from my hatch. I won't know if I'll need to keep it until I get the coupe motor torn apart, but if I do need it knock $200 off what I told you.

Well, that bums me out a little bit, but just let me know what you decide, I guess. So what are your plans for the 3 cars at this point?

Hmm... can you get an accurate compression test reading with a blown headgasket? Anybody know? That might be a totally dumb question...

It bums me out to, I'll keep you updated on what I'm going to do with the motor in my hatch.

My plans for the the 3 cars as of now, is to get some sort of a title on the 97 and sell it, fix the coupe and drive it instead of my truck(going to sell the truck to) while I build my hatch.

The compression readings with a blow head gasket can vary greatly dependin on how badly its blown. The main thing you look for when doing a compression test is that the cyclinders are balanced (within 10-15% of each other).

oh ok. Wouldn't recognize it without all the rust, not to mention my foot going through the passenger side floorboard.

Hey Chris...I might have a friend that selling his rx-7 and is looking to possibly buy a s13. Would you mind emailing me pics or something and a asking price and possibly a mod list (I saw a short one in a forsale thread that you posted)....He is just looking around right now, but it seems like the PERFECT car for him if your interested in selling it outright. Thanks man!

Wuz up peeps, just checking in after a few days of doing a lot of stuff. Started in a new department @ my job and then today I had to spend all day in the hospital w/ my wife. She had a migrane I suppose, the dr. never really gave a solid diagnosis. It's all good though, I let her take the evening off by admitting her into the hospital for the night so that she can get some rest. Hey James, how about going with something like a mix of tangerine and peach? I know it sounds kinda off, but seriously you could pull that off pretty well with a candy base coat and mix together some paint; 1 part peach and 2 parts tangerine. Ok well if that doesn't float your boat, why not not go with something more practical like banana yellow.

Ok I'm looking at getting a second job for the Holidays. I recon some extra mod money would do me alot of good. You guys have any idea as to where I can work? I need something that isn't public and I can't work for another grocery store. I don't think my company would think highly of moonlighting.

Well, they may be looking for someone with experience in that area to train new guys, so maybe you could help him with that.

Hey Brandon, just so you'll know I stopped and asked about that coupe up the road from me again and the guy still just won't sell it. Such a shame too because it still has good paint, I guess he just wants it to rot in front of his trailer.

Turstin, sorry man I could not resist!

hey I emailed you and never heard back, did I offer too little or something?

Gr8bryt, are you thinking of something like Hiro Sumida's drift S15 or something? Just trying to get a mental picture.

Hmm...so far the only ideas I've gotten are hot pink and peach...
