I absolutely love that look. Too bad they painted it black for this year with the rockstar theme. I can tell from the background that was Road Atlanta, has to have been 2005, we were right there when that was taken.

Ya know, its funny that you posted that. Chris and I were talking about that s13 just last week! We both agreed that was a phat look

Yo peeps, listen up! We've been kicking the idea of a car club around for a good bit now, and we've discussed a few things. So far we have decided on the following, correct me if I'm wrong:

1) Name: SOUTHERN CHAOS2) Meeting Place: TAIL OF THE DRAGON3) When: Dec. 2006

and everything else has just been an idea (don't get me wrong, some ideas were very good). We need to finalize some stuff so that we can at least be official. If we're gonna have a pre-meet we need to go ahead and set a date at least. IF we have it here in Cola, I've got the perfect spot(imo) and it's basically right off the highway no matter where you're coming from. I was trying to get some of the locals together for a little meet and greet on 11/3,( zerothread?id=203996 ) but so far I haven't gotten any takers. Perhaps if that doesn't materialize, we can shoot for that date; I suppose that will give you all a pretty good window to get your affairs in order so that you may attend, but it's not so late in the month that it conflicts w/ family activities for Thanksgiving. For those of you that don't have transpo right now for whatever reason, I believe you all live close enough to someone else that you might be able to car pool or something. The 3rd is on Fri, so maybe a better day will be the 4th so that if someone does need a ride, it will a lot easier for another member to pick them up earlier in the day and not feel rushed or anything. Post your feed back and lets get this thing nailed down!

[IMG][/IMG]Well James I wasn't quite talking about that, but I suppose that's pretty close, being that his looks more vibrant in the orange dept. Now that I think about it, maybe just get something simple to start with since you may have to repaint it serveral times @ first until you can not hit so many walls. How about charcoal or some other shade of gray?

Personally, the tail of the dragon seems alittle scary in Dec....possibly snow and also cold, hard tarmac = not able to put heat in tires= crash and burn!

I am down for a meet and possibly a cruise to tail of the dragon earlier (early/mid nov?)

As far as paint of your car, I like the look of dark reds with black wheels...or, my favorite color, a BMW grey...its dark and light at the same time (lol) with some metallic...its is very pleasing to the eye and wont show scratches or battle wounds that much....I also like SUPER bright white (like subaru aspen white) cars and also off-white like pearl cars (like that "jdm pearl" if anyone knows what I am talking about....jdm as in factory color on some jdm only cars...alot of VIP cars have it as well..)

I am not a huge fan of the PacRim s13... I dont think the silvia lookss good with anything besides a front lip...a 180sx on the other hand does look good with a small areo kit...but nothing major.

I've always loved that care. I seen it one time on the back of a import mag and absolutely fell in love with the scheme. I can probably get a trip down. Maybe i can take my friend Justin (room mate) and we'll take the 5speed 3banger (geo) he's getting a Z32 in december.

Yeah, that was a concern for some others as well. I've never been so I don't know what the conditions and surroundings are like. I'm open for other ideas if anyone has them.

It's a damn shame that the Dai's pacrim S13 is now black, and Hiro Sumida's car was wrecked bad in the rear last time it was drifted and the next event he was back in the Toyota Chaser, so that beautiful S15 may be no more.

email sent. Hey I saw you were trying to get rid of your car, and I was wondering if you had any parts laying around you wanted to get rid of, I haven't decided whether to try to find some stock four lug wheels and tires or to get a 5 lug conversion and just use what I have. But I'm curious to see what you might want to get rid of.

I have a few ideas right now that i am considering. A) i part out both cars to bare metal to make money towards an S10 or so for college next year. My dad doesnt like the parting out idea because i'd be stuck with junkyards hauling off the chasis for money. What i was thinking is just parting them out and then keeping them and once im done with college build one or both of them up, or B) i do the same thing but try to find a Automatic Zenki or something like that or if i can find a cheap 5speed.

I saw this and thought of you pat. maybe you can find something like this in SC.

or just talk to zenkiowns. Remember, if you get the parts a 5 speed swap is VERY EASY. Probably easier than changing a bad auto transmission.

yeah, and you can find some really good deals on them if you look hard enough. The mirrors probably wouldn't be a big deal to ship, the bumper however, maybe we could find someone who travels a lot to transport it at least part of the way.

There's a beautiful kouki for $9000 on classifieds. Black with BBS CH wheels painted bronze and a jdm kouki spoiler.zerothread/201104

I love this car, but the problem I have with koukis is that I couldn't bring myself to pay $9k for a KA powered 240.

I have to agree with you James. Thats a bit steep. There's a guy selling a Kouki on CarolinaNissans. NON SE and also Automatc, AND 193k miles on it for 5900. Thats ridiculous. That thing is DEF not worth that much.

That Kouki looks soo nice.

I wouldn't say it wasn't worth it, just more than any of us would pay. Koukis do seem to bring a lot of money. I heard once (have not varified this) that there were only 8000 koukis made from 97-98. If that is true then that would definitely affect their resale value.
