I think the s13 fire chicken is cool as crap. It's a drift car, so its not like it won't get the sh1t beat out of it anyway. There were so many s13 hatchbacks out there drifting it was hard to tell any of them apart at times. At least this one was different. It would be cool to see some more real old american iron out there drifting. THe 69 camaro was pretty cool, but needs a paint job.

the flip-change-paint Skyline was the most beautiful car there in my opinion.

I'm sure the mustang will be returned to its rightful state after the movie craze wears off. and the rb26 will find its way back into a skyline or into a 240.

Turstin your car's looking nice. It cleans up well. So what would it take to get you to make that trip to florida one more time?

I almost want to do that to my hatch just for the heck of it.

The r34 was extremly nice, untill it ran off the track planted it's nose in the dirt and ripped off the bumper, but it can be fixed (still wish we could have gotten a piece of that bumper)

The car isn't that clean any more, I looked out side this morning and saw little muddy paw prints on the hood and a cat sleeping on the roof , so I grabed a pitcher, filled it with water and removed the cat .

I'm game for another trip to Florida, my dad would probably let us take his Tundra down. Let me know when you're thinking of going and I'll talk to him about it.

I was thinking of next weekend, maybe saturday. I was thinking of giving staticx like one or two more days to reply back with info on what he's got (since he's a lot closer) and then putting a deposit on the one in FL if he still has it by then. So I should know for sure like tuesday or wednesday.

About time man, lol. It looks really good in the pics, too bad the clean streak didn't last that long. I don't really like cats Those are some good pics from Formula D, maybe they will come back again next year and I can attend.

My cats are great just as long as they keep their furry a$$ of my car(s), before I took my s13 off the road to repair the body, they would get on the hatch and lick their a$$ while facing the road.

Formula d will be back next year so don't worry you'll be able to go.

no problem man, sounds like at the rate you've already been working on it you'll have it in and running in no time. You'll have to let me know how it looks underneath all that burnt crap. Be sure and check out that issue where the oil was coming out, that kind of worried me, but maybe its nothing. Anyhow you have 2 heads now so I'm sure you can use your better judgment about which one to use. If you decide to put in a new clutch before you drop the motor in, don't get it from autozone. I put one in mine and it sucks.

Thats a tough call, the red top comes with everything to make it run, the guy says it ran good before it was pulled, and it has low millage.

The black top is just missing the maf (excuse for z32 maf upgrade), don't know how it runs or the milage, but its a black top so it has a little more power stock, and its $600 cheaper.

I'm leaning tworads the black top,(mainly because the price) but I would contact powerline and find out some more info on it (compression, miles, condition of turbo, ect...)before you make a desion.

yeah, I found z32 mafs for around $120, he doesn't actually know the miles of the blacktop. I'll have to ask him about the condition of the turbo and the compression (he did say I could compression test it for what thats worth). I'm waiting for him to quote me a price on shipping it. THe other guy says he won't ship and I don't know the value or the function of the mods on that motor. Both are wired for s13 240 which does me no good but both have ac lines which is great.

THe blacktop comes with a 3 inch exhaust, but that exhaust is probably for an s13, so it may not work. maybe I could sell that... I don't know. I kind of want an invidia exhaust.

I appreciate the input

I kinda liked the red top for user friendliness, but I also like to the black top for base-line stats. Good point about the mods on the red top, have you gotten a shipping quote yet? In the event that the shipping cost outweighed the cost on the red top , I would still get the black top. Hope that helps man.

staticx- that sucks. I'm sorry to hear that. I was kinda holding out to hear from you before I made a decision on a motor. I guess I'll go ahead with this one from FL, the blacktop. It has a few additional things with it anyway. But don't count me out for other things, I still want an S15 steering wheel, so if you come back with the best price on one of those plus maybe some nice kouki tail lights, then we'll still be able to do some business.

gr8bryt thanks for the input.

IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!! Hey everyone, I just added my second (hopefully last) child to the family. Jonathan Chase Hollingsworth: Born 5/22/06 @ 4:23 p.m.; total size is 9.9 lbs @ 21 in. This kid is solid y'all; he literally felt like a small watermelon in my arms. I'll post pics when I can.Just started the Summer semester @ school today too. This has been a loong a## day! I've been up since 5:15 this morning to get everyone ready because we had to be at the hospital by 6 a.m. But as I always say, Greatness requires sacrafice! I'm certainly pleased with the outcome.

Alright peeps, I just wanted to check in and pass the news. I'm tired and I'm going to bed---1.

Thanks for the accolades, it's gonna be tough with two boys now but I'll work through it. I think that right now though, it will be not so bad. My oldest is 3 and he's pretty easy to please and then the infant just wants to eat and sleep. It's going to be a BIG adjustment trying to deal with two boys, full time job, and going to school in the evenings. I may even have to pick up a 2nd job on the weekends to pay for car insurance and gas when I get my car. Oh well, I'll just try to take it one day @ a time for now. Although none of us guys will ever experience pushing a sack of potatoes out of a small orifce, a 9.9 lb baby does things to a woman. My wife is recovering ok at the moment, but instead of the requisite 6 weeks, I'll have to wait 12 weeks before I can get things shaking again. They both come home tomorrow and I'm definitely excited! I'll post some pics when I get a chance.

He IS a big boy! Sounds like you really got your hands full now.

Where's everybody at? Seems like no one is posting lately.

Just put a deposit down on the blacktop motor, I'm gonna pay it in full when the guy does a compression test on it for me, then he's going to ship it to me.
