does your clutch really look that bad? if not then I'd slap it back in there, it's not that hard to drop a 240 transmission if you've already done it once. If you want the clutch, just give me whatever its worth to you, I could really care less as long as its enough to cover shipping, and cheap enough to justify you not buying a new one. You can get it quicker if you come down and get it any day after 5:30, because you know how busy I am and it may be hard for me to make it to the post office before they close.

just remember a new $90 clutch from Autozone will come with the throwout bearing, which is $40+ by itself and I don't have that to go with mine. You really should change that too. When you get one of those, you'll have to get the old bearing off the collar (or whatever that thing is called) and press the new one back on. My dad has a bearing press, so if you ship the bearings and collar to me, I'll ship it right back to you with the old one removed and the new one pressed onto the collar.

are you asking about spark plug wire placement? I can look on mine and tell you how its done...

did you clean out that oil from where it was coming out of the motor? Or did you at least ask someone if that was a big deal? Just make sure you have that covered before you drop that motor in and crank it up, I don't know much about that kind of thing, but there may be a leaky seal in there somewhere. Of course we did tip the motor on its side

staticx- who has stage 3 clutches for 284? KA clutches won't work in an SR will they? Just want to make sure before I get rid of a good nissan clutch..I'll definitely look your friend's website up since I'm kind of trying to go on a parts shopping spree here.

Kouki, Zenki, or no preference?? You should be able to get a decent zenki for like $3500 or something like that. How far are you willing to go to get it? Do you care if its running, any other specifics??

Haha i still have people emailing me about parts off my zenki. And i sold that thing over 4 months ago. About the motor part. The 93' i found out has a hole in the block but other then that is fine. I was thinking either buying a whole new KA with 5speed swap or just getting the 5speed swap and combining the two motors i have right now to make a good one.

That does bring up a good point about internet ads, they're not always up to date. When I was shopping for my 240, I looked on carfax.com for used cars and some of the ads were out of date by 3-4 months in some cases.

What are the specs and how much? It's good to have a truck for all of those things that cars can't do.

Sorry to be so random here... but I didn't really want to make a new post since it's such a small question...

Is SC an emissions controlled state?

Just wondering since I'll be moving there soon. I tried googling, but all I got was tourism stuff and things on "historic Charleston..." blah blah blah nonsense...

Thanks a bunch for the measurements. I'm actually planning to create a custom gauge/meter holder. It's gonna hold the turbo timer, AVCR, radar detector, HUD, Defi Link, EDFC, and SAFC. I've started with some CAD drawings, but I needed a more exact figure for the solid model.

Thank goodness for that too. I want clean air just as much as the next person, but I would also want to run my RB with no cat if I decided to.

What is this "emissions" that you speak of? (insert sarcasm smiley here),But seriously we don't even have a safty inspection.

What part of SC are you moving to?

Its a 93 F 150 4X4 5.0 V8 auto with 154,xxx, it has a cam, roller rockers, mustang ecm, mustang intake mainfold, 70mm tb, 80mm maf sensor headers, full exaust, new water pump, new timing chain, no emissions equipment, and all gaskets and seals except for the oil pan gasket and rear main seal have been replaced. (didn't feel like pulling the engine to change the pan gasket, or dropping the transmission to change the rear main)

There is a picture a few pages back in this thread. I would like to get $3800 but if one of you guys want it I'll let you have it $3350. (kind of want to get it sold beause I could use the money, and I need to eventualy get myself down to 1 vehicle)

Holy crap. Did you just buy that? It's missing a lot of stuff, give us some details on that thing. Also, what do you need? I have a whole right door that has a slight crease going down the side, w/ black door panel, I will separate it if necessary or you can take the whole door and use what you need out of it, only thing I have from the left side is the power window motor, trunk lid with spoiler attached, rear bumper in ok shape. I might have some other miscellaneous relatively worthless things, (sunvisors, vent pieces, etc.) Don't know if any of that helps....

So why don't you just get a JDM one and swap everything over to it? Don't you have a container full of stuff somewhere that's headed across the pond eventually?

lol ill start off saying i got it all for 750.00..

All i need is full int., so yes if you have door panels or panel that are black that would be awsome...i need the whole kouki front, rear tail lights, wheels, trunk, rear bumper and mirrors..i know i forgot something..

I want to try and get the s14 aero k bumper for it.. as far as from you, what color trunk?? and also i could use air vents as well. just let me know how much.

trunklid is burgundy, and has the spoiler, but no light. it's in perfect condition. The door panel is black, of course it is from a 95, so if you end up piecing the interior together you may end up just having to get an upholstry shop to match the fabric inlay that is different on each year. Just make me an offer that suits you, especially if you come pick it up, if you want me to ship it, I'll just tack that on extra. If you come pick it up, you can look through the pile of parts that I have left from that car and take what you can use, otherwise I'll end up throwing it away, because I sold most of what was valuable a long time ago and crushed the car.

$750, huh? clean title? what motor is in it? does it run? how did it get in the shape its in?

you could always go full jdm zenki, with headlights, grill and front bumper. that would be cool. If you have the parts already, it's a thought.

Oh I just remembered, that guy I'm buying the SR from is parting out at least one S14 (not a kouki of course), so you may be able to get interior parts from him, his website with classifieds in it is listed in his sig.

yeah I wouldn't do the rhd swap either, we're in America right?

I bet you'll end up having to get new replacement parts as far as hood, fenders, headlights, all that. I eventually want some kouki tail lights, so I'll probably have to bite the bullet and get them from the dealer when I do.
