Ahhh, it feels nice to be able to contribute to Nico in an area that I'm skilled in.
Alec,So you are going to be running an e-business eh? Do me a favor, let me know if anyone discovers the address after launch. I'm willing to donate my time to make sure that your website is a safe place for people to do business. I would hate to see you fall victim to web criminals who are just aching to see your customer's private information transferred unencrypted via non-secure pages. Even worse are those SQL-injection attacks that can corrupt your database tables at the very least, allow unrestricted access to all of your data at the very worst.
Just to make sure that we are completely thorough in our testing we should set it up like that Discovery Channel show: It Takes a Thief (hrmmmm... fitting), and test your defenses when you least expect it. It would be horrible to find out that you were unprepared for a Denial of Service attack targeted at your service provider by someone who feels that you have wronged them.
I'm glad that you have turned over a new leaf and I hope that I can help you feel comfortable about your new business venture. Be assured that there will be someone watching over you, making sure that any security flaws or cut corners are discovered before they can cause irreparable damage to your livelyhood or online reputation. There are countless dirtbags out there just waiting to take advantage of an honest businessman like yourself.
Take Care,Matt
