Hey guys.. new to this forum.. I've heard of this place in the past but never strolled over this way. I cruise through 300zxclub.com every once in awhile since i'm a member over there.. but anyway.. long story short.. I am one of the latest victims of Alec Bradford. He seems to be doing some business on Craigslist Greensboro area now too. He had a part I wanted and I called him up and spoke to him and he seemed legit. So I sent him a Money Order and have been getting all the same excuses of why I haven't received it 3 weeks later. I've been busy with work.. I sent it out.. but it came back because my girlfriend messed up the address. I sent it out again.. etc, etc. Now he doesn't answer my calls, emails or text messages. I warned him last week if I didn't get the part this week i'd be contacting the post office about mail fraud.. I can't say on here what I have on him, but I'm sure it's definately enough to get him on interstate mail fraud and maybe even a couple of other things. I've been doing my homework on him.. I only live about 4 hours away from the numerous address's he's given everyone on this forum. Heading to the post office tomorrow to start filing the paperwork and plan on calling down to the Greensboro Police Department tomorrow to give them a headsup on what's coming. I'm sure the investigation will take a few weeks to catch up to him, but it's coming. I'll keep everyone posted on what happens. If anyone has anything current on him, please send it.. I'll compare it to what I got and add it to the list that goes on to the authorities.

I would have thought he would have changed his ways by now since he started this mess. Yeah.. i'm seriously thinking of heading down that way myself. Well you have the Raleigh/Durham area covered here. Few other Nico guys in the area i will inform also, first i have seen of this. Any idea what this guy is driving? Seeing as how he has many address's he maybe in any of the major areas in NC? That being said, there is only so many. This will be linked to that local NC import forums also.

Good lord its been almost two years and this guy hasnt been caught yet i say screw the police. Lets do a GB not a group buy a group a** beaten. That is rediculous that someonbe can get away wit a ponzi scheme for two years. Well.. I can't speak for everyone that has been scammed before me. I know from the posts that some people say they did go after him and then got some of their money back or what have you. I don't know. All I can say is.. I just got back from the Post Office and filed the paperwork to get them involved in it. I just got off the phone with the Greensboro Police and since I am the victim, then I have to file the police report up here...and then they will contact the PD down in Greensboro.

I was pretty pissed at first.. and was just going to let it go and chalk it up to I got bent over and should have dealt with this guy in person.. my mistake.. but then I found this thread.. and the more and more I read.. the more I got PISSED.. Who the F*** does this guy think he is. I'm so sick of reading about his fricken sob stories about this that and the other. He keeps stringing people along so they'll get off his back for awhile. hehe.. No such luck here. I'm like that f***en itch on your back that bugs the s*** out of you but you just can't quite reach it.. I'm 19 1/2 years in the Air Force.. I retire in 6 months.. i'll be 38 at the time.. So I have PLENT O TIME to devote to making his fricken life miserable.. Just so happens, I have a guy I work with up here that is the head honcho of one of the local car clubs that's getting pretty big.. I think he has some connections down in NC.. so i'm gonna get with him to put the word out on this guy. One way or the other.. f***en Play Time Is Over!

To be honest with you everybody says they have connections, and they can do this and that. Airman what you need to do is go whoop his a**, cause chances are if it has been two years and he is not in jail by now chances are the cops arent going to do anything. And nobody is going to fight for you. Unless you paypal me 1000 us dollars, 500 is for whooping his a** and 500 is for the bail, and i will take pics. Lol, but i dont have nothing to do with this, i just see people getting screwed over and dont like it.

Yeah.. I know what your saying.. talk is cheap on the internet.. everyone can hide behind their computer screens and talk all the smack they want.. I'm going about it the civil way at the moment.. See how far that goes.. As of right now.. I should have him on forgery.. since he didn't send me his real name.. so I know he had to forge his name onto the money order in order to cash it.. So.. that's theft and forgery actually since the money order isn't made out to him.. plus there's mail fraud.. since he never sent what he said he was going to.. Then plan B is always a road trip.. I'm sure the guys I work with would love to drive down and visit the locals..

I guess we'll see what happens..

I remember the day this thread started im very suprised you people havnt gotten together and put a case on him and took him to court. Its been a long time coming sombody should really do somthing serious about this guy instead of sitting on the web b****ing about it. Not anyone in particular either. Its a pretty clear case of fraud and hes done it enough to where he should get more trouble then he thinks he will.

Oh.. I wasn't joking when about what I posted earlier.. I went to the post office today and paid for the investigation into the Money Order.. I called the Greensboro PD and talked to them too.. but I have to go to my local PD and file the charge there first so it can be sent down to Greensboro.. Haven't done that yet.. some things came up today but it's on my list to do..

Just got an email from Alec with a tracking number saying it will be here in a couple of days.. said he's had alot of family stuff going on.. apologized to me and all that.. Like I told him.. no offense, but until it comes out of the Postman's hands into mine, I don't believe him.. I've already started with the Post Office.. i'll hold off until Monday for the police visit.. but i'm serious as a heart attack.. i'm not letting this s*** drop.. I feel bad for everyone else that he's wronged in the past.. but the s*** stops here.. i'm not letting it drop.. My wife told me to just drop it and let it go.. believe it or not.. all this is over $62.. Might seem petty to some.. but that's my money that I worked for.. and I don't give s*** away for free.. (well sometimes.. but always for a good cause).

Sorry it's been so long since I replied.. I finally got my MAF in the mail from him back around the first week of November.. I think it was around the 7th.. Only took like 6 weeks since I sent him the money for it. I finally got the copy of the mail order back that I paid the Post Office to track. I seen where he filled in the rest of his name on the money order. He told me his name was Alec Bra.. Probably so people wouldn't know who he was.. Word to the wise.. make sure you put lines in after entries on checks/money orders.. that way nothing else can be added to it.. like this. "John Doe--------------------" He told me his name was Alec Bra.. then he added the "dford" to his name so when they Id'd him when he cashed the money order, he would look legit.. but anway.. I will definately be doing my research before I send money through the mail again.. on a side note, hope everyone has some Happy Holidays.. Peace!
