Not everyone has a friend who is a district manager at DT to get awesome pricing. This GB is as close as people can get unless Greg will actually get something going for these wheels. We'll see. As for now this GB is getting these wheels and other alternatives and many are jumping on it.
BTW, it's not the number of members that matter, it's the wholeness of the community, and needless to say, many on Z ilvia are very close. God, stop making it seem like it's a competition for members on a forum. Who the hell competes for members on a forum? It's not like more members equal more money? Or does it, lol. But seriously, this whole "We have XXX members" is pretty gay. That seriously doesn't matter. Club240 has a handful of active members. Does it make it a bad site? No. It's very close knit and all the active members deal well with each other. It isn't just about numbers and forums aren't for competition.
And yes, if I still had my S13, I would have jumped on this deal without any doubt.
Pfft! Z ilvia's numbers have nothing to do with its monumental FAIL. That is taken care of by the anality (made that word up, plan on keeping it) of its staff, the draconian rule enforcement, and the sheer level of incorrect information that tends to circulate. The reason the incorrect info is allowed to is because if someone so much as calls out a member on the factual accuracy of something they call it a flame and boot the person. Sure some members are very close, but so are back mountain inbred hillbillies, doesn't make them better, or better off, for it. Its one thing to be close, its another to do so at the exclusion of everyone else, which is exactly what Z ilvia tries to pull. I wish you did jump on the deal so you could get ripped just like everyone else. The only difference is when you came crying no one would care worth a damn because you were thoroughly warned.
As for the first paragraph of your post I think you miss the point. The main point is the national backorder, which is an indicator of the likelihood (or more aptly lack thereof) of this buy actually going through.
The number of members at this site is a testament to several things....First, we don't turn people away for petty ****. No matter how noobish a question is, or how questionable a statement is, you have to cause real trouble around here to get banned, and even then you're likely to get fair warning where your actions will take you. In z ilvia you're gone simply because they don't agree with you. Second, people flock here in such numbers because we are the most reliable source of this information on the net. People get referred here by other members and others who have used this site all the time. Thirdly, people STAY. While our number of enlisted members is a lot higher than active posters, take a look at some of the people with less than 1k posts. Many of the people with a relatively small number of total posts who have been posting recently have signup dates from years ago. That should prove right there, even those who aren't active forum users come back here when they need to because they know within these pages are the answers that they seek.
