NC FOLKS: **Scammer Alert: '90silvia/90RPS13/Alec Bradford**

He sent a few payments as a "show of good faith." He is trying to make the situation look more like a bad debt which is a civil matter and less like fraud which would be criminal as well. He is only doing it to try to construct a legal defence should the matter go before a jury.

This way he can argue that he never intended to scam anyone, he just found himself in a bad spot and is trying to make good. This could raise reasonable doubt as to his intentions which would have to be proven in order to get a criminal conviction.

No intent to scam = civil suitIntent to scam = civil and criminal

Obviously, the guy makes a profession of scamming people. This, or he is scared and has been speaking to a lawyer.

But my good sir, he made one fatal mistake. His dealings on Z ilvia are not only selling. His spending habits would suggest that he has more than enough to pay everyone back, but he would be at loss for what he wants, not needs... All this on public forums.

wow. i just read all 13 pages (yeah i know, being laid off of work leaves PLENTY of down time lol) Hope everyone gets thier stuff taken care of, this dude is a douche-galore! so d!ck got his $80 but what's goin on with the seats? Ya know, it really sucks to see stuff like this happen man. We all sign up on these forums to meet people, learn about our cars, make new friends, and sometimes get cut a good deal... then losers like this guy come and take advantage of someone just to turn a buck. F*** that man! I havent dealt really with anyone here yet, but i like to give people the benefit of the doubt most of the time, and people like "Alec" are making it harder and harder for anyone to trust people online. I really hope this guy gets taken down. Whether it will happen or not, who knows? But he certainly deserves something. I hope he feels really good about screwing people over, because someday he's going to need someone to help him out and hopefully they remember all of this crap and brush him to the side like he likes to do to others.

Good luck with your money/parts guys. Hope this all gets figured out. I feel bad that you had to go through all this stuff when we should all be playing for the same team. Well anyway, like i said good luck guys.

i have spoken to ebay and they do have info on him that they will be willing to turn over once a suit or some other legal action is pressed on him so i'm giving him a few days to see if i might hear from if not then i will press charges and will be willing to share the info to any and all that might like to do likewise he really messed up when started ripping people on ebay they don't like people making it hard on them i will keep you guys posted

There's no reason to wait. He has given more than sufficient evidence that he will not pay you or send your stuff for at least 6 months and then it will only be about a 4th of what he owes you, if that.

that also explains why he continually gets good "user rep" bs over there and is protected from people he scammed attempting to get their money back.

If you get burned (and it's worth it) file a claim against the forum owner and pay the money to have them served - $45 or so. They will have to fly to your location to defend against it or you will get a default judgement. At this point you can assume Alec and the forum are in it together.
