I confess. I belonged to domestic rice.

My first car was a 97 Lumina blue neon lights and custom-made white face gauges. I don't think I'll go into the K&N filter and such..

Never had the money to rice. And, coincidentally, I don't have the money to make my car fast either. :(

Used to own a Civic that had cut springs and a painted-red gauge cluster.. mind you, I bought it that way. Had the springs replaced eventually, but was "interesting" to drive while it was that low. For some reason, the civic also had a trailer hook..

I also was always too poor to do anything with my car. So I just stuck to stereo systems. I did have some really ricey ideas thopugh was all about some lowriders when I was 15-16. :( I'd still rock a 64 impala!

When I had my blazer, I made a homemade "cold air intake" that I always intended to block off from the engine bay, but NEVER did. Hence, it just sat their sucking hot air until one day the PVC I used for it melted a little and the filter fell off, my truck stalled all the way to school. Yeah, I was an under the hood ricer :(

My bro who got me into cars was very anti-rice, and I came to Nico at the same time I got my car. So ive had anti-rice in my head ever since ive had my car.

I used to drive my parents' 89 Buick Skylark... I ordered these "blue" headlights that just looked like blue transparent film around the light, but I thought it was cool that the headlights were blue colored.

And who can forget the $20 Wal-Mart wheel covers?

rice, hmmm, 86 celica st, (fwd) and 5 spd, rusted to hell, coffee can on there, and it was slow, smoked (need a valve job), painted 4 different colors while i was fixing the rust, painted ricer blue, and had goofy racing stripes, and a huge wing, still smoked,

i sold it for 2500 to some other ricer... not bad for a $100 car, and $900 worht the work...

Praise god i never went through that phase. Most of my friends who were into cars were older than me, so they went throgh it for me. By the time i was old enough to drive they were straight and i knew it was gay.

If having a 300mm Broadway Wide Inside rearview mirror makes me a ricer, then I'm proud to be a ricer. Those mirrors are nothing but goodness.

Other than that, I put HKS and K&N stickers on my 87 Starion ESi-R. Of course, I also had an HKS exhaust, and K&N intake... and that was in 1994.

I had some blue neons and a chrome shift knob.

Both have been long since removed, though. :thumbup

Well, back in 5th grade, im in 10th now, but back then, I wanted a Honda Civic Si with Lexus IS 300 tail lights, vertival doors, black widow kit, the works. That eventually evolved into me wanting an EK9 with a B18C1 with all Mugen parts. At about 7th, I made the switch in a 240sx.

Well I had rice intensions, but thankfully I dont have a car of my own to rice out. I drive my moms Maxima. Then I found NICO and Im glad I did. I still think there's nothing wrong with a Mugen or Spoon Honda or Acura if money is no object.

I just had some rice friends who on his 89 celica cut his springs and put a blue color exhaust on. I also knew a couple people who had head light covers on everything. Thank god at the time I didn't have a car cause the influence would have been bad.
