I think I need your mailing address so I can send you a retard button Tapioca...

you really shouldn't troll on the 240, there's some here that'll rape civics, even faster ones.

My 93 GT Grand Am use to RAPE honda civic hatches and coupes. They are not fast at all fool. The ex model only had about 120hp. The SI was the only fast one they had at 160hp. And even that one had NO torque. like 130lb of torque i think tops.

You either have to build a full on race engine, hook it up to Nos, or turbo it to make it fast.

The only fast Honda, imo is an S2000, or a Type R Integra(which is an Acura anyway)

No offense but a 240 will rape a stock civic lb for lb. Get your facts straight.

Wow!!! Please dont talk any more. However, I still have a desire for a Civic like red the one I described earlier or a black EX with gold Mugen rims and a touch of Mugen and Spoon in the engine and interior. But thats only if I have a good amount of cash to spend after I get an S14, which apparently is not gonna happen.

I only wish i could make up my freaking mind what I wanted...

One day it's an S13 Sil w/ Ca18... The next it's a Sil-80 with a blacktop Sr. Followed by an R32 GTR. Then onto an S13 sil w/ RB26det.. Followed by yet another R33 GTR...

AHHHH why am I doing this? No matter what I want to stay Nissan. I just cannot decide what I want.

im only going s13 with redtop sr because everyone is doing it. :thinker NOT! it's the cheapest route for me and i rather have a reliable jdm motor with a decent amount of hp. imo, tuning is the fun part. forget all about what other people think and if you can kill a domestic, hondas or whatever. as long as your car runs awesome and is perfectly tuned , that's where the skills are. but of course, people have to get over the ricer stage and quit being narrow minded to really understand that.;) gotta give it you drag drivers but there's more to racing than going straight!:D

He was talking about the EG6 though and the EG6 SI model had a blazing 125 hp.

Ya know, I honestly don't understand why people enjoy any fwd car. That tapioca fool was talking about 1/4 performance. Well, he should do a web search on "weight transfer" for starters. Then he should do a search on "understear". THEN he should get the "powered by Uncle Ben's" sticker for his fuel door. Before I knew what was what (11 years ago when s14 was still in prod and I was in high school) I had narowed my car choice down to a 240 or prelude. Now, I wonder at prelude's with loud mufflers and think, dayam. I can respect a good lookin' car that's a piece of art, as long as its owner doesn't pretend it's a performance car.

Now, to be honest, there are 2 stickers on my car (rear quarter windows), but only becuase I'm very happy with the products I've used from the company and they have been there to answer questions.

Oh, and I'm only replying becuase I had to smoke a prev gen civic (not sure what, had shaved emblems) that had a full kit, nice shiny paint and a LOUD muffler who decided he needed rev it at 2 lights in a row. The third time he did it was too much and I just couldn't resist smokin him like a fatty on a friday.

I swear, ricers see a 240 with a polished exhaust tip and a lowerd stance and just asume what, I bought an "eBay Special" muffler tip, cut my springs and shift via a "Slushamatic"? Kids these days.... (maybe my bubbled window tint fools 'em, go figure)

Well I enjoy my mom's Maxima. I really dont look down on FF too much cuz there are some pretty fast ones out there that I wouldnt mind owning. Im also aware of the disadvantages of a FF platform. FR or MR are definately better though.

dont forget about the h22;) i always liked the prelude and i still do. hondas are very reliable cars no matter what people say about them. never had a problem with mine, that's why i gave it to my sis because i know she wont have trouble with it. just because they come out of the factory with low hp, doesn't mean they can't be tuned into a N/A beast:D

sorry to hear that. guess they both can't be taking shi*ty care of their cars huh? fck the h23. h22 is the way to go! either that or turbo the h23.:D imo, too much money and work to boost a N/A car. one reason i got the 240. what are their problems?? how hard do they drive them? i baby my cars, keeping it under 4k daily driven. plan on doing the same on the sr:pface

I'm just telling you what I know...

The one with the 94 never raced his hard at all the years he owned it. the 95 was driven hard later on but only the past year or two.

Yeah, when I was 16 my 1st car (bought myself thank-you) was a POS '83 camaro v6 and when the muffler rusted itself off the car, I decided why stop there and took a hacksaw to the piping infront of the cat. Talk about one loud, sick sounding motor. I drove like that til I got pulled over for the noise. I guess that was rice, before rice was even a term.

i keep getting slam for saying a few nice things about civic, WTF!?? i'm sure everyone here go to the track all the time and have plenty of experience with racing, there's a reason y u only see civic with loud muffler on the streets, i know i know, they are on the tracks too, sometimes!!!, but bring ur 240 to the track, the ONE person w/ a honda/acura that will race u will hand ur *** to u, dont be too proud of beating those on the streets, its not special, everyone have done it, just like 240sx owners, among the thousands, if not more, only a few know how to drift, i'm not saying the SI is the shizznit, just that its a bad *** N/A car, hell i own 2 240sx for crying out loud, and guess what??? i'm learning how to drift, ohhhh "what a wannabe?" well if i dont "wanna be" then i'll never "be-come" ...........everyone can read, but thinking is the hard part!!!

Dude, chill out. Who said you were a wanna be? And no, that loud muffler honda that looks pretty will not beat me on a track, drag or otherwise. While I've never had the car at either a drag or autox track, the same things that make it faster on the street will make it faster on a track. Which SI are you talking about? Personally I think the little hatchback is FUgly and the '99 si never impressed me (or the prelude) and I sold both of them and have had enough opportunities to romp on them. Sure watching the tach swing up to 7k is neat a few times until you realize not much else is going on. Well built cars, just not all they are hyped up to be. BUt then again, I learned to drive at 14 (illegal and unsafe and I'm not advocating, but props to Dad) in a RWD sports car, so FWD (and it's understeer and torque steer) has never had an appeal to me.

I understand you tapioca. guess what? my parents own a BUBBLE TEA restaurant:ylsuper love it. yea, not all honda's are slow. my friend's gsr runs 13 flat. no nos, no turbo. and he never took it to a dyno!! his buddy has a 10 sec hatch and lost to zex nitrous car by .003 sec. most honda owners don't really know how to tune. most are really going for the show. but remember guys, don't under estimate the power of hondas! haven't you watched stage 1 of initial d??:tisk: everybody's main concern should be KILLING RICERS:aug2
