I was a server at a restraunt for seven years(11pm-7am) the for a year i was a delivery boy for an Italian restraunt, I've been a manager at a differnt restraunt for the past five months, and no i don't sell drugs!...lol

well i know I've said he's taking a small break, he won't be able to get back to my car untill early Jan. But it works out great for me, I've placed my order for my Bride seats, Ganador mirriors, C's short shifter, Ikeya Formula racing Acryl windows(quarters), Nismo-urethane GT shift knob and Nardi steering wheel(classic,330mm) I need a rear suspention kit but I'm still not sure on which one is the best bang for the buck, I'm thinking the PowerTrix kit but I'm not sure

Holy... that's some nice work man. When its done post up how much everything cost. That looks like some really clean work. You found a really nice shop to do everything.

I need to get a job so I can start doing stuff to my car.

Those are best looking seats out there, love them. You will never drive with anything less than a Nardi wheel. Excellent grip and top notch quality.

This is just an amaizing build and its funny to see all the people that flamed in the beginning backing down and showing support now. The level of commitment is ridiculous. Are you doing any audio/video or is it strickly performance?

Everything is looking real hot so far. Can't say I wasn't a bit iffy from the beginning of the thread, but you're doing a great job so far.

BTW, I want whatever job you have.

well teddy, right now I'm a manager at a fast food chain(Sonic) I bring home like $1200 a month, so not the greatest job!(helps to have a supportive girlfriend!)..lol...before that I worked as a server at Steak n shake on the midnight shift for 8 years, that was a good job, I brought home like $2200-$2400 a month...i miss that! thats why it's taken me 4 years to come up with the $42,000(to date)

yeah it feels good!..lol...as far as audio/video, my car prolly weighed 2900 with the RB25 in it, my goal is to have it weigh the same or less after the build, so a system is prolly out of the question, but I might do a in dash flip up screen and fill the front with some really good speakes, but subs will weigh too much.

thanks for all the good replys guys!

the heavy system is not necessarily true. you can do a relatively simple system and actually balance your cars weight. JL makes a wonderful 8 inch sub and is really light weight. or go with a alpine type r (no flames, this is actually a really good sub) in a ten inch.

and remember, its not the total weight but rather the weight distribution that is really important. if you are doing a total suspension setup you can fully take advantage of this and corner weight your car. and for what little the rb25 adds up front, you can easily offset the extra weight with a pair of sups and an amp. modern audio equipment for the casual user (not competitoin crap, garbage imho) is much lighter than one would initially percieve.

i added a single 12 inch apline type r sub, a custom box (im a style whore, its flush on the back between the shock towers) and an alpine mrdm350 amp. sounds great, and it only weighs 40 lbs total. get a high end head unit and you wont need to worry about a 4 channel amp. im partial to alpine, but eclipse also makes a good headunit. get a separate headunit and a flipout and youll be happier. i used to do professional car audio for a living and i would constantly get people with porsches and bimmers who auto xed and were worried about the same things as you. more often than not they ended up with a better weight balance or just a more pleasurable driving experience. also, if this is your shop car, people want to see all around things like that, if you are going to the trouble of a wide body, youll want to tough on an audio, even if it is heavy.

oh, and most can be made to come out for track days. i leave mine in my srt though, i corner weighted my car with it in, the balance was better. fwd=the devil for balance

I will give it some thought, maybe even weight the car before and if it's where I want it, get the system. the rb weighs arounf 180lbs more then the KA, there's alot of things I'm doing to cut on weight, so we'll seethanks for the heads up!
