I agree with this, lines on the car catch the atention of our eye, so your eye will follow the line and the car will "flow". Also if the lines match up with the existing lines of the car it'll make the kit integrate better with the car.

In other words DONT glass the front or rear bumper on. It will look alien and extremely non-factory.

I agree with alot of what you guys are saying, the only thing is, the kit doesn't fit like it should so if I want him to make the fenders and bumpers all fit show quality, it will cost alot more then if I was just to glassed them together.

A big reason why I thought it was a bad idea for people to glass things together is that you couldn't ever change bumpers or anything, but with this kit, nothing else would fit anyway so.....

the front bumper is prolly worse then the back, so I gave him the go ahead to glass it to the fenders(don't really want to but it's alot cheaper and I ain't made of money) but I prolly won't glass the back bumper.

i think if you mold the front bumper u should mold the back it might look odd...unless u mold the hood to it too and and have it that u lift to whole front end to get to the motor...thatd b sick but impractical...but the hoods carbon fiber aint it?...well what ever thats jus my opinion

no, it's fiberglass, I wanted the clean look, so I'm painting it. I did think about your idea but like you siad, it's impractical, but i will mention it to my body man.

right before I left the shop today, he through the front bumper on for me(ducktaped it) this is a general idea of how I want the front bumper to look.I put black ducktape where I want the vents to be, the middle one will be for the intercooler, the one on the right will lead up to a custom box that will be in the engine bay(filter)

Its hard to say but if you check those top right and left corner vents on your bumper and the the way their shaped with the headlights they should be even and not rounded. Just a thought. Its looking good.

When you're all done, I want to see the final TOTAL cost. Do you even have any idea of how much you'll be spending total?

OK, my offer is: PLEASE keep them in a special corner of your room or something until I get the front end of the 180 pulled out and I'll give you as close as I can get to the original price for them . Cuz I still dunno where in between 600-1,000 the frame repair is going to be.

I've always wanted to build a car that was different, sure I'm not the one doing all the work but they're my ideas, I've always dreamed of my car being on the cover of a major mag, whether it does or not, doesn't matter, I'm still going to have a kick a__ car, I want to start my own buisness, online for the first year and go from there, so this would be my demo car. I was a server at a restraunt forever, right now I'm a manager at Sonic, so no, I don't make alot of money, I just saved everything I've made for the last 4 years. My girlfrind has helped me alot in the past year, out of the 50K+ that I'm putting in the car, I say she prolly spent 5-7K to help me out.....I know...I'm a lucky guy!........so to sum it all up, I'm building this car for me to enjoy.

Christ that is A LOT of money!!! I was expecting a high budget but DAMN! With that much money to put in the car why don't you just do RB26?

cause at the time I didn't have an extra $3000-3500 bucks. I didn't have all that money all at once, I saved, bought something, saved some more-bought something, thats how I've been doing it, I wish I had the extra money at the time, I would of loved the RB26 but I'm still happy with the 25.

I enjoy seeing the car progress step by step. And 50k+... My highest thought was around 35k but wow. Hope the business your planning will be a success

Hey I was wondering what do you plan on doing for the vents your cutting? Are you just going to cut some holes? Or are you going to make them lead inwards so they look 3 dimensional?

yeah they will be going inward, middle for the ic, the right one will lead up to the custom box for the filter and I'm not sure about the left one yet, maybe a oil cooler or something.
