I will say that I really hated on you when you started out, but this project is coming along nicely and the guy is doing some excellent work on it. Can't wait to see it painted and such.

that porsche jaquemond is gorgeous. but i like those porsche's just how they are with a nice drop and some low offset wheels, and wide fenders.

Agreed, that Porche is absolutely stunning! Great job on the work thus far and I can't wait to see the diffuser integrated in!

well I'm shooting for the clean exotic look so I'm painting it all Mercede-Benz silver, it should look good with the wheels!

d!ck wrote:personally, i still dont like the way the kit flows in certain areas, like the rear of the car when viewed from just about any angle, and how there is no contrast anywhere on the body, it looks like some kind of polymorphus blob because of how the light reflects off of the painted fiberglass. the lines between body panels look very tight, which in this case is a bad thing. it looks like a hotwheels car or something...

but im just going off of the picture of the red car you supplied. if your body man is as good as you say, yours should look better, right?

anyways, not trying to give you crap, just stating an opinion.
I'm really not sure what you are saying, I think the kit flows nicely but thats just me. MY body man is really good at what he does and it will look better in every way possible campared to Jacquemonds demo car, there's isn't put together very well! and I'm not mad at your comment but I would like you to explain what you mean, I'll give you a pic

(fyi, thats mr veilside for us yanks.) i read taht they sold that car to universal for 50k. and it cost somewhere upwards of 250k to build.....sadness. teh jacquemond kit is fantastic also, id like to see a veilside silvia, but thatll never happen.

thanks, I wish it was the rx 7, I love that car! If you watch a movie like FNFTD you have to tell yourself it's not a documentury, it's a movie and then you will enjoy it, if you go in there thinking it's going to be our lifes on the screen, you will hate it!....but maybe that's just me......the same with the other ones

well at the time, no one could get me the hood in a month-month and ahalf, I found a shipping company the shipped it to Chit-town in that time frame, so all together around $900, you can get one for a S14 for around 800-900 from Raretrick but it will take between 2-6 months before you get it.

here's one on the S15 conversion, sexy!

well, the hood, front bumper, lights and fenders don't fit all together like we hoped, and to make them all fit(show quallity), it would take alot of time, which =$$. he said it would be faster(also cheaper) to glass the front bumper and fenders together and just work with the hood, so thats where I'm at now. After that he's going to do the front bumper, make it look alot more aggrassive(thats why it has ducktape on it) it will look like the front bumper on my sig.
