Wow dude, thats going to completely transform your car. Not that it matters, but I wasn't really liking how it looked with those XXRs. Its going to look great when you get those things mounted, good choice dude.

Well being the Varrstoens are a much better size, better width, and more aggressive offset, and weigh 23lbs, i dont see how these arent better than my xxr's. I understand what your saying about quality, but honestly i dont track the car often, its not a show car, and honestly spending 3k on wheels and tires is happening right now. This is the next best step imo, but thanks for the thead sh*tting

Well that aside, I finally got my Black Powered by Max adj shift knob, its pretty sweet, im gonna cut down the inside threading so the knob will sit lower..

Wheels should look nice. May I ask why you chose 225/45 instead of 235/40?

How much did those Varrstoen's run you?

Can't wait to see pics of those on your car, planning on getting either those or rota P45-R's.

They look better.

Still knock-offs, but they look much much better.

Potentially stupid questions, but, will all wheels with the same dimensions (17x9, +12 w/ 225/45/17 tires) more or less fit the same?

Does it affect your max steering angle?

Looks good.

Pretty much yes, although you have to realize that some tires (brands) come wider than others so they might seem slightly different. It comes down to the width of the wheel. And to answer your question about the steering angle, you need to specify more detail into your question. As far as I know steering angle will be the same unless you place spacers in between the tie rods, modify spindle knuckle etc.... Maybe you're talking about the tire contact patch?

Yea I like the way the valances cover up the exhaust canister, and they look nice, with sideskirts of course. I might have missed it but do you have dyno numbers of your setup?

yes i do a few pages back at 15psi

ive fixed a few problems and leaks, ive been trying to take it to one of the multiple local dyno's to get another chart at 20psi... but time has failed me :yesnod

20 psi huh. I got my ecu back from Enthalphy last week buy had trouble with starting the car. I figured it out and now I'm ready to fire it up whenever I have a next day off from work. Martin adviced me to stay at 18 psi max but I'll have to look at my AFRs and see if I can boost 20 at highest. What are you're AFRs?

I have a pretty conservative tune, so i normally drive the car at my low boost setting, which is 17.5psi. my AFR is around 11.0

My 20psi high boost setting is only really used when i feel the need, though the AFR is still no leaner than 11.3-11.5

here is the gt2871 users thread on zilvia

its an awesome thread, sorry for linking to another forrum, but there simply isnt another thread this informative for SR20 with gt2871... period...

I recirculated my BOV, the anti-stall kit that synapse selling honestly is garbage. The BOV really is designed to be recirculated, and it runs great. Its not the best looking way to recirculate it, but its functional and was done very easily but i will probably change the setup when i get time.

I snapped a few pics, I'm in the process of lowering it slowly and i still haven't adjusted the front camber. I really am not worried about slamming it. But it will be lower.. It will be aligned again shortly

I'm kinda glad you got the Varrstoens, I was planning on getting a pair and after seeing them on your car I'm not liking the fitment. Just my opinion though...

I can't wait till you get more pics up after getting cambered up though!
