Nice job, Is this your DD? I do like the interior. Making that brown disappear im sure is alot worse then the gray in my 95 was. I hope you used lots of spray on the carpet cuz if its a DD like mine then some of it will rub off no matter what.

Keep up the good work!

I feel your frustration with those back orders. I've ordered turn signals at least three times to have them back ordered.

Very nice. How much you putting down @ what PSI??

I made 280 @ 15psi so far. Need a return line with correct fitting and we will dial in a little better. Very conservative tune right now.

Well ive been really lazy with this update

tuning went pretty well, the guys at specialty Z did a great job. Had to put in a new 02 sensor and ended up buying a new turbo outlet also

the car put down 291 whp and 267 ft.lbs/t @ 15psi on 91 octane

i had him alter the tune for 93 octance since i am moving back home to st. louis, mo next week and can stop running the sh*tty CA 91... i will turn up the boost to 17-18psi and should push another 15-25 whp out it :)

dyno sheet

Image

and a dyno video of a 271whp pull

the car pulls so much harder, especially on the top end... :dblthumb:

Well i am offically a free man and moved back home to St. Louis. Its great being out of CA and back in a state with no required emissions :)

Ive been going over and cleaning up the car. I encountered a problem since i changed out my ecu. The ignition start wire wasnt getting the full 12v, so the car was having really bad cold starting problems...

it was an easy fix, i just picked up a 3 wire on/off switch and spliced into another power wire and wired it to the ingition start wire and bam...just flip the switch before a cold start and she fires right up :dblthumb:

i also picked up a Covercraft NOAH cover for when my car is ever stored outdoors which is a great cover that has great protection in all weather conditions.. i picked it up from summit for around $200

a few random pics for the other day

well yesterday the CORRECT hawk hps pads came in, so this morning i did the install. everything was a breeze and i actually barely broke a sweat doing them... the rears were a different story

but everything came out great, the new rotors and pads feel great and made a very noticable improvement actually :)

i actually just ordered a Godspeed catback to change things up a bit, straight pipes are nasty and i will surely be keeping them... just something to change out when i get bored

ill post up pics and maybe a sound clip of each catback

the new catback came in. the quality isnt bad at all, i was actually impressed.

i bolted the axle back pipe to the isis mid pipe (no resonator) and it sounds very nice, deep and has a nice tone

the mid pipe that came with the new exhaust has a resonator, which is what im going to use with the isis straight pipe to keep down the raspy tone straight pipes have :)

its nice having a choice...

Nice numbers. You find out what the numbers were with 18psi? I have similar setup and hit 303whp and 287tq at 18 psi. Running stock manifolds, intake and exhaust. Link to build in my sig.

ive been following your build for a long time, nice work :dblthumb:

i have not put it on the dyno since the ive been in st. louis and been running 18psi on 93oct, but it pulls noticably harder than it did on 15psi and 91oct

but im sure its a little over 300whp, similar numbers to yours, and thats with stock manifolds, block and head... so theres plenty more power to be made if i want it :)

Both of you have very nice setups. Good numbers for a stock block :)

What is the turbo efficiency for the 2871R? Can you go past like 20+ psi?? You can make plenty more power with some head work.

My T70 is rated at 29.6psi.

Was wondering the same thing. My turbo, the FP Big 28, has been pushed to 22psi by DSM owners but most run 18-20. There is no compressor map for mine all i know is that it flows 550cfm. Any idea what the GT2871 flows?
