Actually, Japanese market A32s didn't come with anything better than your car's VQ30DE. The only other engine options were the smaller 2.0 and 2.5 liter VQs. There is a 3.0 direct injection VQ from the V35 Skyline, but that would be extremely expensive and hard to come by.JB aka. really?? I heard that the A32's had around a 30hp gain over the VQ30DE.MinisterofDOOM wrote:Actually, Japanese market A32s didn't come with anything better than your car's VQ30DE.
around how much and would I have to convert to awd like a skyline?MinisterofDOOM wrote:There is a 3.0 direct injection VQ from the V35 Skyline, but that would be extremely expensive and hard to come by.
If you're looking for more power, the VQ30DE-K (variable intake manifold) or VQ35DE (torque monster) swap is the best and most economical way to go. Both swaps are tried and true. No point in importing a JDM engine for our cars.JB aka. DownTown wrote:Ok cool yea I knew converting would be expensive but what about the 3.0 direct injection VQ.
