I own a silver 1997 Infiniti I30t, auto transmission, that has 160,000 miles on it and runs great!! Oh and looks great too! Very happy with it.

Does anyone know if I can get preset buttons for my bose radio as 2 of mine are broken. Or are they not sold seperate?

thanks

Welcome aboard Hunter. Not sure where to get spare buttons unless you hit a salvage yard to pull a couple or simply replace the headunit.

my ride is a silver 2002 infiniti I35 that i just purchased for $13,000 with 34,000 original miles. it is not a sport model. it came with hankook icebear winter tires that i think are great in snow and dry pavement. i just picked up another set of pristine infiniti 17" 6 spoke wheels for $200 that i will use with my summer tires that i have not yet purchased. i wil probably purchase either hankook or falken tires for my summer ride. i also own a 94 infiniti Q45 that is a great running and very nice car. i've put over 100,000 miles on it and it now has 188,000 miles. when i have to drive on a trip longer than an hour, i use the Q because it drives like a dream.

Hey! Newb here - just picked up a '97 Maxima SE 5sp. Neptune blue w/ grey cloth. (125k mi) this was a one owner car that was kept C L E A N.. this guy had a little notebook that tracked the mpg every time he filled it up with gas since 1997.. along with tire rotation data and every oil change or bit of maintenance!! this is my 4th car after an old benz, 91 miata, and an 04 civic.. this thing hauls *** and runs so damn smooth, its my first experience with a VQ of any type, as of now im just gonna try to keep it as clean as possible and probably do a suspension and wheel/tire upgrade..

Congrats on the purchase. Pretty rare to find people that take such good care of their vehicles, and can back it up with the documentation.

Just bought my first Max, and how I love it! I look for reasons to drive it. 2005 Winter Frost Pearl SL, all but NAV! I live here in Greenville, SC. Unless rear window vinyl lettering is included, I have no mods....am looking to tint however.

HI all Nissan/Infiniti fans.

Here comes an International Max owner.

My name is Alexandar but friends cal me Sasha (Yes I am a guy, I know I spel it like the girl name). I live in Stockholm, Sweden. I just bought my self an Nissan maxima a few days ago. Have had an Nissan Primera (Infiniti G20) for about 3 years but wanted somthing bigger Engine/car, so I decided to get a Nice and smooth Maxima.

My car: Nissan Maxima QX Engine: 3.0 V6Year: 2003-03Color: Champagne (EV0)Interior: Beige leatherRims: 225-45-17"

Just for the record, The European version of the Maxima came from Japan and was based on the Cefiro. So my car looks like the I30 not like the US Maxima.

Pics are coming this weekend

that is awesome. I have not been to europe in a few years, but I always love to see how different the cars are over there. If you could post or email me some pics of european nissans that would be most cool. You are among some of the most knowledgeable people in the nissan world. Welcome to the fold!

p.s. I bet if you went to junkyards over there and got a bunch of europe only cosmetic pieces (i.e. grills, headlights, etc...) you could make a killing in the classifieds. Just a thought....

Hi guys,

Actually I've been around for a long time and communicated with Dr. Rex about 4 or 5 years ago. I haven't been around much lately but I'm back!

I live in las vegas and own a 1996 infiniti i30 platinum pearl white with an auto transmission.

My i30t is very heavyly modified and put out 400 fwhp at JWT a few years ago. I'm ready to go back in a few months and shoot for 420 fwhp or better.

I only use mods that improve speed or performance, no fancy lights, body kits, or crazy ICE.The mod list is too long and I'll probably forget some but here goes;-Rebuilt motor (9:1 compression) with new pistons, valve springs, retainers from the vq30det motor, shot peaned connecting rods, JWT cam shafts, 5th gen oil pump, extrude honed upper and lower intake manifolds, 370 injectors, walbro hot wired 255 in tank fuel pump, nismo fpr, ported & polished & gasket matched intake & exhaust manifolds, 300zx mass air sensor, stillen modified super charger and vortech air to water aftercooler with 14 lbs boost, JWT dry n2o kit with 75 shot, Jwt reprogrammed ecu, aquamist water injection, oil catch can with 30 lb PCV valve, engine oil cooler with relocated i qt oil filter, custom exhaust with down pipe and an electric cut out valve that gives a full 3" dump to the passenger side, custom griffin aluminum radiator, battery relocated to trunk with emergency alternator & battery shut off, JIC FLTA2s full coilovers, front brembo big brake kit with SS lines , volk t37 racing wheels, traction bars, stage 2 lower tie bar connectors, front & back strut tower braces, rear sway bar, energy suspension polyurethane bushings including motor mounts, fully modified auto transmission with upgraded valve body, gears, torque convertor and final gear ratio with external oil cooler & filter, mechanical & electric steering rack with adjustable pressure switch, full array of necessary autometer gauges, custom made electrical panel with relays and fuses for all aftermarket addons, 6 point custom roll bar with padding to match interior, schroth 4 point harnesses, fire extinguisher system for engine bay, That is what I can remember. I'm waiting to get some drag radials to go to the track because the last time i went I couldn't hook up!
