I will take pics of the new parts when i get home.
The best part is that there is still more power to be had at 15 psi, it really makes me curious as to what it will make at 23 psi.

I made 293/310 with my t28, 370cc injectors, and stock maf. You'll make plenty of power with that turbo, it just won't be as efficient.

550cc, z32 mafs, and a t28 is good for 300 rwhp, plenty of power for a drift car, and you actually have usable power in lower rpms, a big plus for drifting.

Don't know why I'm still talking, I'm just rambling at this point.

Good luck with the rest of your build. It seems like it's taken a turn for the better, though your modification "methods" leave me wondering.

It just seems that a lot of things done to the car are half-assed and not thought through. There are a lot of quality parts, but the installation and workmanship isn't up to my standards, which I realize is a totally arbitrary value. I think it would be a much nicer car if proper research were conducted and parts were installed with care the first time around.

Maybe it's just me, but I remember a few of Lonismo's posts from the ka-t forum, I didn't get a very good impression.

Way to eat your own stupid words man. I knew you would blow it within the first month but DAMN SON!Don't worry I try not to say stuff in your thread. C'mon a guy who doesn't see how hood spacers install can't possibly be successful on his first KA turbo job.

I'm just glad you have a friend helping you. Who boosts a ka to 13.5 psi without a tune and extra lower comp pistons?

LOL! FAGKASTER! I remember when all the mods had the I <3 AZHitman avatar, then regular users started using it, and it wasn't funny anymore.

I thought you were using an EFI Specialist tune? How did you manage to throw a rod? I ran 13 psi of boost, granted only for a pull on the dyno, and I didn't throw a rod. I might have cracked my ringlands however.

Realtalk: the KA's third cylinder is drilled off center. Every single KA block out there has a mis-aligned third cylinder. Granted it's of by probably thousandths of a micrometer, any sort of prolonged detonation will cause that rod to exit the block.

This thread is entertaining, mainly because of how ridiculous some of the posts are.

LONISMO since you're going SR now will the 550cc's be up for sale? I'll buy them if they are.

He didn't throw a rod or boost it at all, I just got done with installing most of the stuff back into the car and running a compression test on it tonight.

I"m very tired but heres the low down, basically he is using a greddy kit parts currently 370cc injectors, greddy 20g, emanage, FMIC, bov, etc.

Now he does have a ecu that has a efi specialist tune for it, BUT we can't use it till we swap his car to manual (again? ) because its a manual ecu and it seems like from all the info we have learned they won't work with auto trannys.

For now though we are getting closer to finishing what was started a couple months ago and recetifing some unforseen problems that the turbo made aware to us.

Then where did all this heresy about a rod being thrown come from?

Is this car seriously automatic? Wow.

Never driven a fast auto. I really wasnt going to go 5 speed i was going to get the suprastick. But it seems the only way i can use my tune is to go 5 speed so im doing that.

Remember seeing this about a year ago...

I do have to say that due to all the nay saying, Im surprised that your sill updating this thread! By that I mean people usually give up, but your still goin strong

My constructive criticism is to take it slow steady and do it right... Cause going back into your motor just sucks...

Anyway, Good luck!
