Post the pics. I live in bluffton and I used to go to Sav a lot and want to see if I recognize the car. Screw the haters, it's not your car anyways.

LOL just noticed the new smiley to match my signature.

Guessing that it's from GA and it's red and yellow. I think it looks like this. I'm sure this thing will win trophies somewhere.

So i going to push forward in the build. For the people that are interested im going to bring you up to speed.

The install of the turbo was a success. Although i had a couple set backs. I had the kit installed But did not have the gauges installed yet, so long story short overboost and i blew the headgasket.

Please get rid of those injector buttsplices. Cut, strip, twist, solder and shrink wrap.

Injectors use pulse width modulation, and are sensitive to impedence. Those splices can induce noise and impedence.

You paid for those hood spacers? And take some constructive criticism.... you are looking for trouble with those butt connector splices on the injectors, you didn't even use the correct size butt connectors

Fill me in...Those hood spacers are they to dissipate heat?

The reason I ask is because it looks like one of those gay fads like stretching a tire on the rim beyond the width of it's tread.

I thought the same thing until i seen it in a turbo magazine and the numbers are a dramatic drop easy way to let out turbo heat.

I like the tin foil. It adds some bling-bling factor to the engine bay.

Man, i'm so sorry but this thread is just full of FAIL. I'm not one to be an a** but c'mon. And as for your BRO's award winning yellow and red 240? I love how you post a pic of an riced out S14 to draw away attention from your bro's riced out nissan... Still no pics eh?

As for the spacers? I'm surprised you installed a turbo kit on your own... And you were so confident about installing them correctly "And yes i paid for them looks pretty good to me and they are installed right." Man...

I'm sorry... so sorry.

Thanks for the "positive comments" everyone. I will try to answer all questions.

Fabricating gauges? I was going to do that but i have put that off until august or so not trying to fund that project now.

Aluminum foil? thanx The foil is rated up to i think 2000 degrees. it is very effective.

lol hood spacers install/ right way? Me and my friend installed them both ways but i ilke it the way they are installed now gives it a mean cowl look. And will let the heat from the turbo out fast.

Man im sorry blah blah blah? Soryy im a grown man i dont have to answer to anybody posting pics of my brother car doesnt do me any justice. I have nothing to prove to nobody nor do i care what any of you'll think. And if your read i said 200sx/ b14.

I still have a long list of stuff to get. The whole reason of this thread is to document what i have done to the car. Then this whole thread pictures and everything will be printed and put in a binder for memories. Sorry but this thread is not for people to go oooooo aawwwww its for me. Im not asking for help or what should be done because it is my money not yours.

There is always that option of not looking.Thanx Loron.

That is a cowl hood. Yours looks like it doesn't really fit. Or like you forgot to shut it all the way. How does your hood close with those spacers blocking the arm? Did you force your hood closed?

hrmms interesting build you got going on here. i like to drop in on all the ka-t builds i can get my eyes on so i can get as much info and reading preperation as i can get before i under go my build for the summer. but that will come later on once i get everything together ill throw a build thread up.

but i agree im still waiten on these pics of your bros 240 that were supposed to be up in a few hours.

and as for the rice style we refer to, its more about the the blatant lack of style. its rice because its either to much bs and not enough quality.

any 15 yr old kid with a set of their daddy's wrenches can rice their car with a little help. its the people that go [out of the box] as you say and add that suttle touch to set you apart from the rest.

i said that to say im all for color matching but i mean maybe some people need to take an art class and remember you have more then 2 colors at the paint store.

but im not bashing just trying to enlighten, and by all means do you. oh and since your 2 toneing your car and you got the cowl look going why not turn on tlc and hit up chip foose and see how he does a 2 tone on a classic might give you an idea. i watch all those shows i can specially on the weekend with spike and the powerblock check that out for paint ideas even though they rarely ever touch a tuner car, and even when they did they didnt RICE it.
