because i wasn't thinking when i put it on. I was in a bit of a rush to get it out on the road and driving...just kinda threw it on my "master power" turbo.

GT3076R .63A/R. 38mm tial WG, 650cc's, AEM fpr. went with the cheap-o SSA manifold. i havnt heard anything bad about the 6 cylinder manifolds. my fingers are crossed. i still dont like the idea. so i consider it a temporary fix. but if it works, i may just stick with it. cross your fingers for me. hahaha. went with a 10psi spring in the wg, and its gonna be tuned at 18psi i think. the motor is stock still. besides a greddy T belt, oem water pump, and an N1 oil pump. im hoping for decent power. ofcourse another custom DP. prob sell the old DP. its a custom 3" that will fit on the stock turbo + mckinney mounts. im effing excited as can be.

lucky, you will pay hell trying to keep that thing from boost creeping if you have the same stlye manifold as mine...if the wastegate piping is under the turbo flange then i can promise you boost creep will def happen...i had to relocate mine to eliminate it completely from the bottom..

im sure its not hard to see where i had to put mine..lol

well due to the poor placement of the wastegate originally, when the gate opens up the exaust flow is going in the opposite direction so the gate cant get teh exaust gases out efficietly enough to keep it from creeping...you have to get the supply from the side of the collector so when the gate opens, you will be able to control it due to the fact that its inline with the exaust flow...the reason is simple, the way the manifold is designed to flow is up towards the turbo right? ok..well the wastegate is mounted directly underneath the turbo and because all of the exaust flow is going up towards the turbo the exaust flow will always follow the path of least resistance. so because your gate is in teh path of heavier resistance it wont be able to control it (the boost that is)

Interesting. Does that same issue exist with the HKS low mount mani? CarlH was mentioning this in my HKS mani thread regarding my screamer pipe, that it should connect to the exhaust to provide venturi/scavaging when the WG opens.

dang i was hoping that was just my crappy boost controller. I was using that manifold too. guess its a common thing.

youve got the same manifold like we were just discussing, man i wonder if its possible to get these fools who thought out this design to get them to fix it ...they are selling these manifolds and just about everyone who buys them will be having to modify them in some way shape or form...

when I was running that manifold on my 20 I was endlessly dealing with boost creep and lack of sealage against the head eventually I just went back to the stock manifold modified for an external gate

Is it ok to run the oem bpv + aftermarket BOV?

Also, can an aftermarket BOV be ran atmospheric without negative consequences on an RB20/25?

I powdercoated them candy apple red. First coat is the chrome base and then the candy red. I purchased the gun from eastwood and the powders from pendry powdercoating
