i don't follow hockey, but i do enjoy getting rambunctious at any live event. i've gone to a hartford whale game before. we got drunk and did a lot of yelling, mostly at the refs who were stopping the fights before they even started.

your move, ben...

Meh, I enjoy it live, but not as much on TV. Unless its a crowded bar and a rivalry game is on. I watched a Canadiens vs Bruins game in Montreal. That was a riot.

Slammed here lately. Lots of my projects are ramping up. Enjoying the hell out of the new job!

Preds games are a whole 'nother level. We probably have more chants than any other team in the league.

You've found your vacation site, bud. Come on down. When can I expect you so I know when to tell Brooke to clean?

And then she'll tell me to go f*** myself and make me clean.

yeah, our temps have been up and down, mostly down, lately. but the current forecast is looking at a steady 30-35 for the next week with partly to mostly sunny skies. that would do wonders to clear up a lot of the snow on the ground.

I heard a news report that some coastal areas were contemplating dumping the snow in the ocean because they didn't have anywhere else to put it. is that true?

it is. but the problem with that is a lot of the snow is contaminated with all the chemicals we're using to prevent ice. plus the crap they're using on the highways is doing a serious number on the undercarriage of vehicles.

All the parking lots around here have a mountain built up in the middle of them now, it would be kinda cool except it looks like death snow.

It used to be they got in the game early and piled it all up before it got this dirty, but everyone is lazy now and they don't plow until everything stops completely.

And as far as the interstates, they're storing the snow in underpasses down by 395, just like they did the last few years. It drains right into the Potomac and apparently nobody cares until it's too late. It's been discussed how bad it is for the estuary, but we still have to find a place for the snow and no one will wake up and realize it should be sent to the water treatment plant instead of stuck under a freeway. Idiots.
