I think all dealerships offer the same paint protection plan because they offered it to us on the Kia too. I didn't spring for it myself though, even though it was tempting. We did spring for an extended bumper-to-bumper warranty though so everything is covered until 100k on it, not just the powertrain.

I really need to get a winter beater for myself, but the Pathfinder will just have to pull double duty for right now. It has done extremely well this week for sure. I don't think it was happy about the negative temps this morning though.

So TIL about Cryoseisms. Mainly because I thought someone kicked a ball against my house. It's actually that cold here. Like, so cold the ground is actually breaking.

Wow. It was 0* this morning here, just north of DC... gonna be -5 or something tomorrow morning! :ohno:

I had to load the ladders and boxes on the truck when it said 2* on the porch temp sensor. There was no wind, so thankfully I didn't feel it much.
Still, the moisture from sweat fuming off me when I got in froze immediately to the side window and had to be scraped off the inside with the ice scraper. I lol'd.

It's what happens when something freezes so quickly that it doesn't have time to expand normally, so it just busts apart because of the rapid expansion.

This. It's a weird banging booming popping noise thing. And Dave, we got down to -7 earlier this week. Stupid cold. Thanks Obama.

It might not be cold related. Those same sounds happen after one eats at Taco Bell.

Speaking of that, they opened one up in the local mall. I honestly thought that the one thing "they" couldn't f*ck-up was a couple of burritos... I thought wrong. I sat down and had the blandest Taco Bell experience known to mankind! It was so bland that the bowl explosion that always occurs after such a meal never happened. I'm not sure how I feel about that yet...

DUDE, I forgot about BB King's. Yeah bro. And Jack's barbecue is the one I was telling you about. It's right across from the Predators arena on Broad street. By the way, do you like hockey? Cause we could go to a game and get loud. Cause Smashville. http://www.yelp.com/biz/jacks-bar-b-que ... way+Street

And Ben, love ya, bud. But Nashville IS music. Not just country. That's our claim to fame, but we got all the music.

BB King's is on 2nd Ave, which is "real" Nashville to the locals. That's where all the big bars used to be, and those bars tend to be a little bit more "real" and less "touristy." Everyone moved to Broad St after the predators came to town so that they could catch the already half drunk hockey fans coming out of the GEC. The real soul of Nashville is still over there though.
