I really want a sticker or magnet that says "My car wishes it had a clutch." It's kinda hypocritical to sport a "Save the manuals" sticker on an automatic car.

I'm headed home but will be all over the middle of the state. Melbourne, Clermont, Orlando. Definitley going to the beach, though. Looking forwards to being one of "those weird people in the water in December," haha.

Is the two-fourty road ready, Ben?

So far it has been doing OK, if it pops another fuse i guess i will replace the pump.

Do you ever get Legacy GT's in for repair with any major issues?

The more I drive the lady's 2.5 the more I get used to having a decent car with just a few creature comforts. Though I don't love the speed or the CVT in hers, I could likely find the turbo version very liveable.
The Corolla is great and all, but I like having a backup plan in mind and there haven't been many newer cars that have been as enjoyable to drive as the Suby.
But sometimes its the simplicity of the Corolla that I love so much. Not to mention how I don't give a flying f*** if its dirty or if I hit something, or drive it through slush, snow, mud, yank the e-brake in a snowy parking lot and hit a pole, etc. Theres a lot to be said for having a reliable s*** that you don't give much of a damn about one way or the other.

Mornin' Ray, Dave!

Ray, are you going to Florida for work or play?

The only exhaust wrap i have used is this stuff.

Works great and is easy to apply.

Hmmm. Thats not exactly what I bought, but it looks similar. Still, glad you didn't say "that stuff sucks, you wasted $5!"

Florida is a quick play trip.
Bringing the gal to meet family/friends. We'll go to the ocean, grab my mom for lunch and then hit the firing range (shes never shot). Then a friends surprise B-day party and back to Providence. Its a quickie, but it'll be a good reprieve from the norm.
Hopefully the GT is a sweet ride.

I have used both the silicone stuff and the old cloth strips that you have to dip in the goop and apply, the silicone tape works better IMO. I can't find the other stuff anymore anyway, so YEAH.

I would love to stay in any place where the weather never gets below 40 and never above 70. Just like mostly all of Florida in the winter...

Today, I leared that there is NO EMISSIONS OR SAFETY TESTING where I'm living now. I'm so happy I could almost do a little dance.

Why do you think I love Lexington so much? I can rip all of the emissions equipment off of my vehicle and Fayette county could not care less.

I'm definitely getting a loud damned Magnaflow setup as soon as the expensive Holiday season is over.

I miss the days when my family knew I was coming to visit because they could hear my car across the neighborhood.

Funny, I just learned that not only do they pull the codes here, but they will fail you if you have recently "cleared the fault log". I am looking fwd to moving up the BFE PA. Give me enough acreage to shoot on my own property and keep people as far away as possible.
