i flipped it backwards. i was champ on wheelies and stoppies. about 20 min before my wreck i did about a mile long wheelie. it was weird cause from the second i pulled it up till the second i hit the ground i dont remember. it seemed like it just went straight back, like i never let off the throttle. im sure your fine spooled just keep it on two wheels.

Yeah I plan on porting the runners so they flow into the runners instead of just having a circle against the square port haha.

Sucks Moto, usually it's other people that cause motorcyclists to get hurt/die, but I hope you're at 100% quick. I still can't get any pics to load on NICO from my home computer. I just get the swirling loading logo the whole time :/

When I was in college (the first time) a guy bought an original, 1-owner, non-turbo one. I was a beautiful car that was really well taken care of. He only kept it for about a year before selling it though. He wanted to modify it so badly but was afraid of it losing value bc it wouldn't be original anymore. He ended up with an NSX.

He could have na-t'd it and made a whole lot of power, even the n/a blocks can hold 600whp no problem. Ending up with an NSX isn't a bad thing though haha.

Moto, how the hell did you manage to do that with a broken leg?!? Didn't look too shabby either lol.

If anyone happens to go junkyard shopping soon, I'll pay you like 10 bucks plus shipping if you grab me a driveshaft carrier bracket thing, it's what goes around the center bushing. I planned on going 1 piece but funds are limited and I just want to drive the car again. It's this piece right here, I would need the bolts too though:

Top and bottom, yes?

Are they different for auto and manual?
I'll check if I ever go to the yard.

Technically I only need the one on the bottom in that picture, I grabbed the top piece off my auto driveshaft so I'm assuming they're the same. The only pick-n-pull type yard around here has no s chassis right now :(

I finally got a new-to-me ride, 2001 Chevy Express Conversion Van. So far I love it, feels like your riding on a pillow and it easily has enough torque to pull my camper. I'll snap some pics today, it's Indigo Blue. Good news is, I didn't have to unload the S14 in order to get the Van.

Now I have a dependable daily so I can really work on the S14 like she deserves.
Life is good.

Was going to be sorry for you having a Van, but since you kept the S14, congrats.

I'm a Van guy anyway homie. I have 3 kids, 2 in car seats, you can't travel anywhere in comfort without a Van. Family changes your perspective big time. 4 years ago I didn't have any kids living with me, then I had Dylan, then I got custody of my oldest, Michael, and then we had Thomas. In 4 years I gained a teenager and two toddlers...lol.

I can't afford a midlife anymore :chuckle:

Anyway, the Van will be badass. I already have a 27" monitor, ps3 and the standard old a** VCR for the back. It came with 2 flip down monitors, but they blow.

Just incase you don't think the Express can be badass...

Wow, bet that was embarrassing for the Corvette owner. Glad you were able to keep the S14 too. Maybe you can use fixing up the S14 as a bonding tool with oldest as well.

Nah, he's already into the stage where he'd rather be hanging with friends. Dylan on the other hand is a gear head.

WD, when you get to DE and can devote a day to work on the 14 lmk, I'm totally down to make the drive and give you hand. I'd like the chance to re-pay you for the help you've given me........... might even bring some beer

Chris, if Biggie don't have one like he thought I can hook you up. I got a 1 piece sitting a box and this would be the perfect excuse to swap it out.

I found that piece locally, but I am interested. How much do you want for the one piece?

Quick question - My wastegate currently has 15 psi worth of springs in it. I'm running 550cc injectors. I'm running a Holset hx30. Will I be maxing out my injectors at 15 psi? I'm going to datalog once I get it running but if I'm definitely going to be over 80% duty cycle I'd rather change the springs to 10 psi while everything is off the car and accessible.

If there is any concern, I would just play it safe & install the 10psi spring for now. That said, I know nothing of Holset turbos. I mean, I know the brand, but have no idea on any specs.

I know I keep saying this...BUT...a few extra lbs of fuel pressure will let you run at a lower duty cycle. Personally I've never really worried about duty cycle, so long as they weren't operating at 100% all the time. Even if they see 100% for a few seconds, I doubt it will be enough to lock one open or closed.

Not my car though.

Chris, do you have a boost controller? I have a dualstage turboxs controller I'm not using, you wanna use it until I have a car that is under boost? When I'm ready for boost you can drive ur a** up to Delaware for a visit. It's just sitting in my tool box collecting dust so...
