Once you start getting in the high twelve/low 13 area it doesnt really matter how much power or how "fast" your car is. Unless you have a good pair of cheater slicks your car isnt gonna go much faster than that. Im gonna pick up some nitto NT555Rs before i go back to see how much it improves the timemotoman399 wrote:

I i did a burn out but the Khumo Ectstas still spin. If i take off at full limiter (which i would never do cause the thought of it scares me plus the SR has a tendency to float,) My car would go nowhere. I launched at 4K 3.5K and 3K and 3K seemed to be the best.motoman399 wrote:no i am nowhere close to a member. boohoo lol
are you heating up your tires before you launch? when my kouki was going i would heat up my 235's with a 8-10 sec burnout then launch at the limiter. and it would bite. also it was on street tires.
how are you liking the coilovers?
the car would have to be daily driven cuz a 13 sec track car is nothin special, bone stock evo's will do that lolJ14cm7 wrote:

YOU HAVE ONE OF THOSEJ14cm7 wrote: my cobalt
Yea i have a base model cobalt and i love it. Bought it new during cash for clunkers and paid less than 10K for it and it had 3 miles and a warranty. Cant beat it. Best DD i have ever had.motoman399 wrote:

i test drove an ss one in 06, i chirped the tires from first to second and the guy told me to pull over haha. oops.
I am in no way defending its speed. i didnt buy it for its performance. I bought it for a good reliable daily driver that gets 32-37 MPG. And its new.spooled240 wrote:those chevy noballs are alright, I pulled on one slowly on my daily boost level of 8psi...if i were at 12 pounds i would've burned him
i'm talking about the turbo models, the supercharged models were a joke
I was gonna say no but decided to not look like an idiot and as a matter of fact they do. Here is a great site for looking it up...http://www.courtesyparts.com/240sx-part ... _3736.htmlSleepyHB wrote:quick question: does the zenki and usdm kouki use the EXACT turn signals?

Also you have the same exact headlights and stuff i'm going to go with and i would love to see them in person before I buy mine.
Just hit me up and i'll send you phone number.
Sounds like/hopefully it's the battery, they are cheeper and easier to steal than an alternatorJ14cm7 wrote:***UPDATE***
Unfortunately my S14 is down. I'm pretty sure its the alternator since it will start and run but onyl after its jumped or put on the charger for a while. I will be ordering some parts tonight and hopefully it will be ready in time for carlisle but its not looking good.
