I didnt mind the first one, but when watching the 2f2f at a public showing at my college, i couldnt take it anymore. It gets annoy when the incredibly mis-informed are telling their even more mis-informed freinds "oh that pink car with the girl driver is a RX-7" and "Im going to get nitrous for my car so i can race" (real quotes from when i was at the movie by the way)

I believe it was actually a GTR, all they did was take the front driveshaft out. The car was originally Craig Liebermans (or whatever his name is), it was a blue GTR and the repainted it silver for the movie.

the 32 and 33's had one fuse that you could remove and make them RWD. The 34 always feeds a little HP to the front...

Hey everyone, I'm new to the forums :)

I just wanted to post a link of someone actually doing a real engine swap (and a LOT more) to an AE86 Levin with the TRD 4A-GE 20V engine :)

Here's the link

oh and here's a cool image of a the engine itslef :)

http://www.todaracing.com/imag...b.jpg(I don't know if that's the exact same one as in the first link, but it's close enough) :)

from the outside yeah, check out those sweet heads though!

me and my friend have thought about undertaking that with his 86 (well 2 of them now) but I think he's gonna use a supercharged MR2 motor for one (4AGZE I think it is) and turbo the other.

(I'm trying to get him to get another Corolla to do that swap though:D

Serious? I woulda thought the Skyline or one of the muscle cars would be the fastest...I know what mods that skyline has, it seemed like it would be pretty fast.

nah, the REAL Yenko schooled them all.

the Skyline was apparently a ragged out turd and it was even a GT-R but they felt it necessary to disable the AWD instead of just buying a GT-T

The S2000 was just the best out of the newer cars.

whats a trueno? was it in f&f? if not, it probably sucks.

um btw i dont think you could put an mr2 engine in a ae86. unless you made it mid engine or ff.

the MR2 engine is the same as the Levin/Tureno engine. The transmission is the difference. People put the Supercharged 4AGZE into the AE86 All the time and it never came in FR layout.

lmao. i did have a brain fart about the transmission urrrr. for some reason i was thinking "i have seen 4agze's in ae86, but not from the mr2." it was late.

as for the trueno thing, is it made by suziki? i just watched both f&f last night and never heard one or saw one. can you put nos on one?

You can pull a fuse on the R32, the R33 requires removal of the front driveshaft.

Hijacked thread. I'll close it to maintain what's left of it's integrity, F&F guys open a new tread, I want to bash that movie too!
