I removed the iacv to clean to see if it would help the idle. I need to replace the short hose that connects the valve to the intake (i guess). Its bent at two points and is about five inches long. I already tried replacing with regular heater hose but because of the closeness of the two connectors for the hose, the hose folds where its suppose to be bent and does not allow enough air to pass causing the car to die. All auto parts stores tell me to use heater hose. Questions: Does anyone know if this hose is sold anywhere? Has anyone had this problem and how did you fix it?

Answer: I took the hose that I needed to autozone. The employee was able to give me an almost exact match of hose with both 45 degree bends. Thanks all.

Having issues with ebc/turbo timer install and gauge install. I don't know what wires in the dash are for what...

The ebc/turbo timer needs: positive (I'm guessing this will be a permanent positive for memory purposes), ground (maybe to the chassis?) , ignition, and parking brake (positive input for turbo timer).

The gauge, I'm assuming just gets a ground and a positive that comes on when the key is turned on, so ignition?

Any assistance with what others have done with their gauges/ebc/turbo timer installs would be greatly appreciated.

O.K. Well, this video just answered all of my questions.

Here's a REALLY USEFUL LINK.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...lated

The only question I have left is... Is my assumption correct that I'm going to want to hook the boost gauge up to the ignition, or should I hook it to the +12V that I hook the boost controller up to?

Hey man, I'll be the first to tell you, I don't know much about body kits and spoilers and what lights are what and what is needed to get lights to fit wherever...

Just not really a body guy.

The R32 spoiler looks a little large for my taste, but the S14 doesn't look bad.

OTW, good advice, but people complain about bushing rattle with the BRM versions as well.

IIRC, I just used whatever my radio ran off of (accessory mode), or maybe even the cigarette lighter circuit.

You can look it all up in the FSM, which is downloadable for free from my sig.

Roman, that video I posted shows where to run the wires at into the fuse box... I'm going to run one wire into that spot on my fuse box and then run my gauges to that one wire...

is there a certain combantion to get the door panel off, im almost certain i had all screws, window crank, grab bar off but i couldn't get it to loosen up near the handle... is there a certain way? never had this problem...

For the lights- I've never messed with them before, but the fuse sounds logical. FYI, you CAN manually turn them down.

IIRC, there is a screw in the door panel behind the handle... not too sure on that one though, I haven't taken the door panel off in a long, long time.

So does anyone make weather stripping for 240sx's yet?

I looked a new door rubber, at $70 a door. I would love a third party weather proofing set that we all could enjoy.

I tried taking off my winter rims yest. Oddly they are stuck. They are OEM 15 - 4spoke. S14. Used wd40, tried lowering the rim on an inclined angle to force them off, did not work. Weird all four rims are stuck. . Any ideas -

they are hubcentric and probably stuck to the hub. get pb blaster. alternately pull on top and bottom of wheel after soaking for ~15 minutes.

give it some muscle, it will come off.
