Yeah i jacked it up, but annoyingly enough whoever changed the wheels last on this car must've been partially braindead because the drivers wheel was super loose. So problem solved, no need for a new wheelbearing whew.

Damn, never end up thinking through the easiest options first haha.

To be 100% honest, the first thing I was going to ask was if your lugs were all tightened. Glad you got it sorted out. Next.

Say I was to put on Spec 2 clutch on would my clutch pedal be stiffer than when the clutch was stock? Also is there anyway to tighten/stiffen the clutch pedal?

You can remove your clutch box if you haven't done so already... that helps a little bit.

If you replace your clutch with one that has tighter pressure plate springs, the clutch should be slightly harder to push (I think).

Braided clutch lines help a little bit. It's noticeable in hard clutching, but braided lines are mostly just more reliable.

I found a good write up thanks! Is there any downside of removing it though?

the clutch gets a little stiffer... if you can call that a downside. Other than that, its nothing but good. Make sure you have a spare body available to bleed the clutch hydraulics when you're done (or buy a vacuum bleeder).

I have no experiencing with bleeding hydraulics, how exactly would I bleed the clutch hydraulics without a vacuum bleeder? Also the write up says you can buy a separate clutch line instead of bending the stock one. Is this what they are talking about? http://www.enjukuracing.com/is....htmlInstead of bending the stock line you just attach it from the line that comes from the clutch master cylinder to the rubber hose coming from the slave cylinder?

The bleeding prcoess goes like this: Someone gets in the car, someone gets under the car. With the bleeder valve closed on the slave cylinder, the person in the car pumps the clutch pedal (might have to pick it up off the floor a few times). They then hold it to the floor and yell "OK!" and the person under the car opens the bleeder screw, then closes it about 3 seconds later (after all pressure is relieved). Person on the floor yells "OK!", or whatever phrase you might prefer. Repeat the process until no bubbles come out... which should be about 5-6 times without the dreaded clutch box. Make sure you keep the reservoir full.

And yes, that link you posted is for the clutch line so you don't have to bend your hard line. It connects directly to the slave (replaces the rubber line at the slave).

I'm in Iraq right now and I had my sister send me pics of the stuff I just received in the mail. I noticed that my SS brake lines said they were for an S13. What's the difference? Will these work on my S14 kouki with the q45 brakes?

I don't see why it wouldn't work, but you should probably call the vendor and verify that it will work. It might be something dumb, like the location of a bracket or something.

I'm f***ing stupid, would this whole modification even work if my car was converted from auto to manual?

No, chances are, if your car was originally an auto, it doesn't have the clutch box. I can't see why ANYONE would swap that f***ing thing on there.

Are the injectors from an S13 dual cam the same as those from an S14? I was looking on Courtesyparts and noticed the numbers were different. The thing is my injector is leaking and Im trying to figure out the problem. It might just be the o-rings, though. Thanks.

I want to say that they are the same. You should check out http://www.deatschwerks.com/catalog/ for injectors. They will probably be cheaper than courtesyparts. You can ask them if they are the same as well.

I was wondering if i install a Walbro 255 lph fuel pump on an ALL stock 91 s13, would i need a FPR (fuel pressure regulator to account for the increased gas?

Also does anyone know a good way to clean hubs while they are off the car?

Stock FPR should work, if not then yeah you might. Hubs, steel wool and degreaser.

stock FPR will work just fine... if it doesn't, your O2 sensor will take care of the rest.

Wire brush should work on the hubs in addition to what Kevin said.

Looks like your front bumper is messed up.... fix it?

Also, its tough to tell from the pic, but is the paint nice and glossy? If not, you might want to go for a re-spray.

Whatever it was from the factory. Off the wall colors only look good on certain cars. Hatchbacks tend to pull it off ok, but coupes look horrible with them.

Do something 2-tone. Coupes can pull off 2-tone much better than hatchbacks can.

I had an 87 maxima that had a pretty nice 2-tone color to it... I think it was darker blue up top, and lighter blue down below...

^That's pretty good.

Hello everyone.... I currently drive a 180sx in Japan and I'm looking at building a stateside drift car... I have a sr20det sitting at my house stateside... I was wondering if there are any differences between the 240sx coupe and the 240sx fastback (other than the obvious)... It'd be nice to know whether or not i can send my lsd and cusco suspension from my 180 back and not have to worry about which 240 i get.... Thank you!

EVERYTHING, matches up. The only differences between a coupe and HATCHback are the obvious ones

I drive a stock s13 92 240sx with a leaking hose. So I followed a tutorial on how to replace the high pressure power steering hose and got stuck at trying to disconnect the bottom of them hose from the hardline.I believe its a 14mm nut that wont budge. I tried vice gripping the nut and turning the hose instead but that didnt work either.I hope I dont have to disconnect the entire hardline piece just so I can unscrew it from the hose.....

One of the mods on here sells some high pressure power steering line stuff, his name is Dan. You can try emailing and asking him at [email protected]
