Im still getting a low idle when I am stepping on the brakes at a red light or reversing. On a cold start the idle is a bit jumpy around 700-800 RPM (Both in P and N position). Once warmed up (1-2 minutes), the idle is fine. It stays around 750-800.

Its just when Im reversing or at a light the idle drops to 500-600. I dont notice any loss of power.

What I recently done:

-Changed oil and oil filter-Changed fuel filter-Changed PCV valve (wasnt able to find any leak on the hose, may have to try again)-Cleaned MAF-Seafoamed crankcase and intake manifold-Put in some fuel injector cleaner (didnt use seafoam, not enough)-Checked plugs and wires-Replaced dis cap-CTS

The last time I checked for codes, I got 32 (EGR) and 13 (CTS). I reset codes the other day and the CEL came on again when im on the freeway and when I get off onto the streets it dissappears .

Anyway, I will check for codes again and hopefully code 13 is cleared up.
Yeah check the codes again, almost seems like its vacuum related

i know knock offs are a bad idea especially when it comes to suspension but iv been seeing alot of godspeed stuff being used lately. just wondering if this would be worth it cuz its pretty much 1/5th the price if u were to buy all the things in this kit from enjuku or any non knock off brand.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ories

anyone had any experiences good or bad with godspeed suspension?

Hey everyone I have 2 questions that have been running through my head for a while.

1. Can I use this clear coat http://www.autobarn.net/duausp..._base over enamel paint that requires a spray gun? And if I cant then what would be the best clearcoat to use?

2. My dad took my spare hatch to get the spoiler holes welded and 30 min to an hr after he finished my dad said the glass just shattered. I was wondering what caused this to happen and if I could put the hatch on my car and let the insurance company put another glass in?

Thank you for all your help and information.

Why do 240sx owners like stuffed animals/characters so much so that they attach them to their cars?

Does the suspension techniques front and rear sway bars from enjuku racing come with all new bushings and endlinks? Also I read that if you replace your stock steering wheel on a 97' 240sx with a NRG short hub the horn won't work and the airbag light will stay on. Is there a hub that will allow you to use the horn and maybe (I doubt it because aftermarket steering wheels don't have airbags) turn the airbag light off?

after my engine is warmed up .. its starts making that ticking rattle sound ... it makes that sound only during idle .. but when im shifting .. it goes away ..

is it clutch related? does it matter if its in gear? clutch depressed or up? a throw out bearing will make a similar noise. if not pull off your valve cover and take off the timing chain guides. reinstall valve cover and recheck. they arent needed anyways.

Seriously you have asked that question like 3-4 times now. If no one is answering you its because nobody that frequents this thread knows. Just make a new thread.

Would a built(~400hp) SR20DET in a '92 240SX be reliable for say...400 mile roadtrips?

The red light is either the emergency lights or the security system, as for the toggle I have no clue what you're talking about.

Depends on who it is built by. If it is built correctly, yes. I wouldn't recommend building it and immediately taking it out to do that though. You should probably run it for a while locally to see if there are any kinks that need to be worked out.

My kouki has the light and button like that except it's mounted near my feet. For me it's my security system.

I know when there is smoke coming out of your muffler you maybe burning oil. What causes this and how can you fix it?

that toggle with the L and R under it is for your power mirrors I am pretty positive it is in all s14's. That red button above it is after market push button could be for just about anything.

this could be a sign of worn piston rings. the oil blows by the rings and ends up being burnt in the combustion chamber. a compression test will tell you more, is there anything else going on? noise from valve assembly?

ok so i searched this an nothing matched my problem i have a ka24e with a idle problem it runs good when its cold when it warms up first around three grand you notice that it dosent like entireley loose power it just kinda can tell its hestating and not using full power then it leads to cuting out every time i try and rev it then stalls and you let it sit for 5 mins and its fine and 20 min later same thing also when i step get on the throttle the temp gauge drops to cold and just shakes and it does it after three grand i dont understand that at all. i bought the car and just resently found out it went through a motor swap could that be the reason why im having the issues like maybe there was stuff that needed to be changed and one more thing when i touch the injector wires it starts miss firing and shaking like its only run 3 cylenders and it starts to tic ? sry for the story i typed but i cant find the answer to this and this is best place i know of

Do you have any check engine lights on? Could be a leaky injector or o ring, flakey injector. A dying 02 sensor, a bad MAF sensor, or even timing.

If you have codes get them checked.
