I wasn't thinking of a credit buy-in. I was thinking maybe everyone post a car that they would give up to the winners or you could give them the car you raced with. Though that Audi would probably be more desirable to most.

I'm probably free Mon Tues Fri Sat and Sun next week.

Noooooooo! I just bought the R10. Next weekend sounds good. We can get a better time as we get closer. Snow sucks but it's a good challenge and I like the diversity. How about a race with sports tires and the other racing since there's no real difference bw med and hard racing, and it's only 350hp.

Also for the last race, I understand it like everybody is going to have the same level car but just different make and model?

Ok I see what you mean. Well I will leave that up to you guys. It people want to sponser specific races then go for it. I will supply the Championship price.

1) Fine. What about the 908 HDi FAP - Team Peugeot Total '10 (Playstation)?

2) To be honest, it really won't matter because every one will be using the same tires so eh. But if every one else wants Sport: Softs for the Rome track then just let me know.

3) I am not sure. If we all get the same car then cool. If not it becomes a huge challenge and will test my (lack of) racing skills.

Bring anything you want, as long as your car is more that 1000kgs, can be tuned for 355hp and 505hp. Also the car has to be able to use snow tires. Side note; the car doesn't have to be exactly 505hp, it just has to be less. The car I'm using will top out at around ~430hp so I don't have plans to compete @ Fuji, I will be doing damage control.

So final reminder...

NO CAR RESTRICTIONS, only HP, weight and tires. Bring anything you want, but remember you can only bring one car.

Race Update:
1) I updated the NICO Ironman Racing Series (IRS) and added "Qualifying Regulations".

2) I added an "Availability Spreadsheet" so you guys can post your info on there. I want at least 8 people in this race and we only have 4 so we need to grab biggie, Razi, dasoupdude, FlatBlackIan, SR20LOL, GTP_takethewall and tigersharkdude and drag them in here.

Cool, I vote for anything but the R10. I actually saw that car in the dealership yesterday and laughed to myself at FAP. Eh, maybe its just me. I test the tires with race cars and still see very little difference, but whatever it doesnt matter to me, as long as they arent comfort tires :ohno:

As for everything else, Ill leave it up you RCA.

PS. You might as well just hand over the car cuz Im ganna win

Yes I have a mic and a s*** load of bandwidth (25 down / 25 up), so I will be using "Very High" for both mic audio as well as game details.

Why does everyone do that?

Not sure how you guys drive, or how your race will turn out.... But the couple of times I have played with buddies they would do nothing but drive cars that were too fast for them on tracks they didn't know well... and the whole thing goes to s*** as the race becomes a competition over who can crash the least, not drive the fastest.

Does no one race normal, manageable cars to see who is the best driver?

Um I hope that last race was a joke. X1 on hard comforts, in rain FTW.

^ Agreed, thats why I dont play online.... ever. Im treating this series as an actual race with who is the fastest and who can cross the finish first. Remember the 5 sec penalty for contact.

Same, lol. I can't control the X1, I spin out at every corner, but it's fun to just mess around with and give to B-Spec Bob. I'm looking forward to clean races in this competition.

Will you be joining us?

I haven't really experienced this because I've only raced with decently serious racers.

Probably not :(

If I can randomly make one I will, but I don't have much free time... and when I do I've been at Black Ops much more.
Plus I made the mistake of adding a few guys from the school's race team on PSN, so now I get texts about why I am playing video games instead of working, lol.

Be sure to save your replays after each race! That way when you watch it, you can take pics!

So whats everybody driving or are you being secretive until race time?
I'm driving the Dodge Laramie.
:spitout:
Actually I haven't decided yet. I'm going to test a few out tomorrow and try out these tracks. Fuji is the only one I'm slightly familiar with. The snow has me worried. :ohno:

What would make you change your mind? Maybe you are not satisfied with the prize car?

Maybe this will change your tune...

Will do. Remind me in the lobby before we get started.

Secretive hahaha! I am the exact opposite, I am struggling with Fuji. The snow race will be challenging though.

After the first race, we will know who did there homework :shifter:

I'm keeping mine a secret as well, hehe. Believe me, the one I'm using is a beast, to say the least.

I'll also save the replays just in case, but I'll remind you as well. I want that 787B, hehe. So freaking expensive.

^ agreed. I will test and tune Friday.

I am also secretive about it. Fuji don't scare me!!! Slow and steady is the key in the 2nd half.

Man, I don't even have a single prototype... But you gotta make it open cockpit if you really want to entice me.

You could probably change my mind if you had it.... like 2nd week of May, lol.

Any where between 2:10 - 3:00 seconds a lap :chuckle:

Aight well you make me sad. But the prize will probably stay 908 HDi FAP - Team Peugeot Total '10 (Playstation).

Im hitting 2:12+. Probably have an average of about 2:13.5. Now I need to try online with the different physics.
I've tried 2 cars with about the same results.

Those times are definitely competitive with me. You should do well.

On an other note:
I really don't want to start this race with only 5 people. Are there not more NICOnauts on the NICO's GT5 boards?.
