Robert or Wes, I contacted the place that has that '93 ECU and they said "The box is gold anodized and has the part# a18 812-p74"RobertsnewQ wrote:93 ECUs are OK, but it must be gold ano not dull silver.
So far, all A18-AXX like Wes mentioned work, but I have found some A18-BXX ECUs that are the right kind. Check with me first.
So far the surest way is to pull the lid off and look at it, but the screws strip easily.
wow... what are jwt's thoughts on you guys just expanding/altering their existing "designs?" There was some dude locally who was doing something similar, and just altering a few of jwt's (and he was doing enthalpy's ECUs also) map values to make it different... and last I heard jwt was suing him over it. Then again jwt's setup wasn't anything ground-breakingly original either, but hopefully you guys aren't sticking too close to what they have because I heard they are getting kinda uptight about that latelyelwesso wrote:We have not done any boost type things, however we are going to acquire a JWT boost ECU soon and then retune it for better boost tuning...... with larger injectors (555s)
The requirements for bringing a Federal civil lawsuit due to patent, or copyright for infringement are the responsibility of the "aggrieved" party, and the burden of proof lies in whether the intellectual property has been altered materially or substantially from it's intended use, thereby causing "harm" to the original IP holder.one ton garage wrote:

You know, the less you confess in public, the better off you will be.elwesso wrote:Heres a couple things that makes ours different:
1. We only compared it with JWT and then basically rebuilt the stock ECU2. WE did not get the BIN files illegally off the internet. We had ECUs that we bought, thus we can legally do whatever we want with the ECU...
You obviously are not that familiar with the US legal system and unscrupulous attorneys and their unscrupulous clients.elwesso wrote:We have nothing to hide, so why not just be up front about it?
