That's fine, I'll pay now with check or PayPal to help defer expenses. Just let me know.RobertsnewQ wrote:Prototype boards for the 94-95 ECUs are on order and should be here in about 3 weeks. Assuming they test out OK, I'll be doing those ECUs in a month.
They do not have to match. There is very minimal communications between them. Shift control is all in the TCU. I may start doing TCUs after I'm done with the 94-95 development stuff.JohnPa wrote:So, here's a question. Don't the ECU and TCU have to be compatible? What about reprogramming the TCU to accept a higher rpm upshift point so you don't have to hold it in gear?
I'd like to get in on this too. I have a '90 Q45t with no TCS, but it is a California model. Got any of those ECUs laying around???
Yep! Youll just have to send us your ECU because we have to reprogram the chip thats in there... The chip in the 94s are obsolete and we cannot reprogram them.franknitty69 wrote:Wes,
I have a 95 Q w/TCS and Active Control. It currently has a JWT ECU and a JWT TCU.
Just making sure that you still have a chip. It's $20 right?
the latter... just like JWT does.GreenQ45a wrote:Are you flashing the stock EEPROM while still in the OEM ECU?
Or are you using daughterboard replacements?
