After a long conversation consisting of "we know you did blank just admit it!!" they were about to arrest him when he pulled out his phone and called our grandmother who works for the sherrif. driving home from Raleigh with my girl, noticed an suv on my a** with its high beams on; i adjusted the rear view mirror and he flicked his lights on. walks up and demands me to get out of the car. i told him f*** that what for. he pulls me out of the car and cuffs me, yells at my girl to get out of the car. now her kid is woken up, shes trying to get to him and he jumps around the car and pushes her away from the back door, restrains her and put those zip-tie? cuffs on her.

now, i've yet to be told why i've been pulled over so once i get his attention from tearing apart my car with a screaming 11 month old in the back; he says he thought i was under the influence?!?!?! apparently his headlights were bothering me more than someone who wasn't and that adjusting the mirror was a clear sign. trooper showed up and saw it all makes the ICE agent leave, then uncuffs us and we leave. his CO shows up the next day at my house with a hand written apology from the officer which i promptly ripped up without reading in his face and told him i was pressing charges. that was a year ago, still yet to go to court. f***ed up huh?

I hope that cop gets reprimanded for his actions . Good luck with your case bro.

My buddy got pulled over for passing a car going 20mph under the speed-limit ( 50 ) on a dotted line??? How does that work..No cars coming either way. He got a $90 fine and 1 point on his license.

Too many to tell, but I'll give you this one as it makes no sense to me...

I got pulled over for going through a yellow light (not red) without stopping.

The cop was a real jerk. I have a corrective lenses restriction on my license and the cop threatened to arrest me for not wearing my contacts when I had them in at the time... He told me to remove them to prove it. I told him if I took them out I couldn't see to drive.

Long story short I got a $95 ticket for not stopping for a yellow light... When I took my drivers exam it said yellow means slow down and proceed with caution, red means stop. The cop didn't like that comment I guess.

So I had just got a new laser pointer for five dollars at target and was putting the batteries in it on the interstate in my friends 08 SI around ten pm. We exit the interstate and an escalade with dark tinted windows veers across two lanes and exits behind us. We parked in a nearby parking lot and he attempted to block us in. My friend floored it and got right back on the interstate and we did about 120 cause the guy followed us back on. Right when we exit we get pulled over at gunpoint. The Escalade guy had called the police and was apparently a drug dealer in hiding who claimed he had seen us with a gun and we had been sent to off him. We were questioned and searched until the officer that questioned him showed up and said the guy was tripping balls and we could go. I through the laser away and my friend bought a handgun about a month later.

i have a stupid one and an awesome one.

1) a cop in Daytona flicked on her lights as i was coming up on a yellow light (FYI cops are NOT supposed to pull you over at a light, thats why they will sit behind you and tur their lights on when the light turns green) anyway, i took criminal justice classes, and i new that fun fact, so i ASSumed that she we needing to be somewhere. I when through the YELLOW light and immediately pulled off to the side with my hazards on. She comes SLIDING around the corner and pulls up behind me. She is now trying to arrest me for "evading a police officer" i said: "ma'am, if i was trying to ''eveade you'' whouldnt i have...kept going?" WORNG THING TO SAY. next thing i know im on he hood of her car, and her partner is tearing apart the inside of my RESTORED Mercedes Benz (apearently if you drive an old benz, you MUST have drugs in it somewhere) AND it had just gotten broken into that morning and i pent forever cleaning it up!!! anyway she didnt have s*** on me, so she gave me a ticket for running a red light, even though it was yellow!

2) (cool story) i used to have a 65 Mustang Cobra, bright red. i was driving down the road and i saw a cop about a mile ahead. i slowed down and made sure i was doing everything by the book.... i got pulled over anyway.... he walks up to the window and does the "do you know why i pulled you over?'' and i said ''honestly no, cause your hiding spot wasnt very good'' he looks me dead in the eye and says ''can i get a ride in your 'stang?'' i didnt know what to think. but he was serious... so i gave him a ride around the block, and he was on his marry way lol

I got pulled over for slowing down to early. At the bottom of this small hill near me it turns from 45 to 25... theres a light at the top of the hill and i got caught at it. so instead of speeding to 45 just to slow down again... i just hit like 30 and cruised down. cop said i seemed suspicious as if maybe i was trying not to get pulled over...

Let him search my car and i had a chainsaw, ropes and hooks for tree work in my trunk. The cop opens my trunk and jumps back like 4 feet.pulled his taser and has me lean against my car, Handcuffs me AND THENNN asks why i had it. I replied, "I have it so i can cut down trees". I asked why i was in handcuffs over having a chainsaw and he said he felt endangered. Long story short i think i made him feel like an idiot and we laughed it off.. I still see him around and we joke about it so its all good.

i was on my '01 Suzuki Hayabusa at around 3am on US95 in las vegas, i decided to see how fast i could get it up to within a bout a mile stretch, i got it up to 202mph and still pulling, i let of after passing the only car on the highway, 2 tays later on the way to work i hear sirens but i cant tell where its coming from so i keep going, i hear them again and look behind me and theres a under-cover in a silver Altima pulling me over, i start to get off by bike and before i knew it i was in cuffs, he took down my info and told me that he was the car that i passed that night doing 202mph, he proceeded to tell methat he cant ticket me due to the fact that he cant prove it and if he catches me doing it again he's coming to my house personally and taking me to jail and making sure that my bike gets destroyed. lets just say that i definetly changed my way of driving after that, but he was right, if one thing went wrong at those speeds i would have been ground hamburger meet strung a mile down the highway hahaha

i got pulled over right in front of my old house on my way home from McDonald's cause some douche was running tags and i had a laps in insurance a few months earlier. i handed him the only insurance card i had which was expired of course which he brought up in a very rude tone... so he went to his car to verify it was current which i knew it was so i sat there and ate my entire meal while he thought he was making me sweat... he came back w/ a warning and told me to go to the dmv to clear it up so it didn't happen again. ended well but what a prick for just running plates. get a hobby or something.

when i had my white hatch, it back fired because the dizzy cap, well i was driving down a road and it back fired really loud, almost like a gunshot. so i see cop lights, next thing you know he is behind me telling me to pull over and put my hand out the window. l0l. well he comes up asking me if i was shooting guns, weird, but i said no its the car, he laughed and left.

in my integra i also got pulled over for reving my motor, new exhaust, friend wanted to hear it, so i gave it a little rev, cops pull me over, asked to search my car then next thing you know there is 3cop cars, me and my friend chillin outside in the rain. my sister got pulled over with me and her bf in the car. she went through a green light that JUST turned yellow. cops flashes, pulls us over, and proceeds to tell us that we went through a red light. he then goes on to say that is the reason why he stopped and asks us if we didnt realize that he had stop to obey the "red light". when it happened, ole piggy was in the turning lane which was red and my sister was in the lane going straight ahead which just turned yellow as my sister went through. funny thing is she got no ticket and she didnt have her license on her at the time. some cops just need company at 2am in the morning, and pulling over people for conversation's sake is how they stay sane.

I got pulled over a couple years ago for getting into the turning lane too soon. I turned into the gas station at the end of the street and saw red and blues right behind me. The cop gave me some bs reason for how getting into the turning lane too soon effects the businesses on that street and other cars trying to get into those businesses

I'm glad I didn't pull what I was about to pull though, because I was following a friend in our turbo Volvos and I got right beside him.

last week I was in my company car wich has a huge picture of a race car on the side of it the cop asked me for all my info licencce, reg, ins comes back with a ticket.I asked for what and he did not give me an answer. He said because my lap top was open.I leave and go to get gas look at the ticket and the ticket says thoughtless operation WTF?? Needless to say I will be fighting this one . Also back in my home town in columbus OH I had a few friends on the police force and I recived 27 warnings b4 I got my first ticket.

Well, I rarely ever get pulled over. The last time I did was back in June (I think...) for no front license plate. I was going down some road and a cop (driving a charger) was driving in the other direction. Well, he felt the need to keep driving for about 5 more seconds or so before he flips a u-turn.

(Im just gonna say it was pretty sweet seeing how quickly those chargers get up to speed...damn. )

When he told me I got pulled over for no front license, I almost felt the need to list off all the other cars I know of that have no front license plate. Hell, I was even gonna point at a jeep passing by that didn't have one. I came pretty close to doing that...but...decided to keep my mouth shut, considering the detention center was right across the street.

He kept on questioning me on where I got my car from, why is half the interior missing, how much did I pick it up for, etc.

It ended up with me getting a warning...but this guy was kind of hard to take seriously because he was just another one of those young cops with a big attitude...probably just moved from California or something.

Edit: The reason why I posted this in this thread is because IMO the front license plate thing is complete bs.....sir, keep your eyes on the road, not on the cars passing by you.

another front license plate but this trooper put his life on the line to give me a warning. i live on a gravel road( ) right off a hiway, its memorial day weekend and nose to tail 80mph traffic. i finally get in the hiway and see a trooper about a 1/2 mile up and my front plate is in the lf corner of the windsheild. its illegal in missouri but i really dont care, i pass him and see him move around but didnt figure he would waste his time, WRONG i made it about 3 miles before he finally got out and could run me down. while on the side of the road he almost got hit twice as i was tellin him how rare my jdm front pignose is without any holes and i have a jdm license relocation on the way but its still not here for some reason . pretty much he saw a young kid with a flat bill and big a$$ avaitors in a slammed faded red white primered sanded hatch with sweet jdm tyte sportmax's(<-- sarcastic)

my personal favorite is i got pulled over bc my rear license plate was to dirty to read and he told me that they have had calls on a green hatchback with a chrome muffler. i ha dbeen in jeff city maybe 10 min when this happened, i was getting some food. so this dumba$$ turned my quick food trip into a couple hour long waste of time. i saw the car they were talking about, it was a effing honda, i drive a mazda mx-3 they look nothin alike but oh well. i hate stupid kids with hondas always reving it trying to hit vtec awesome dude! my town is full of egay coil sleeves and exhaust, ill just drive my moms car into town to avoid the hassle. maybe someday ill be kool enough to sport jdm ebay chrome taillights and gnarly bodykits.

My friend got pulled over in her CRX for having a broken exhaust. The thing was as loud as a tractor; A deaf person could her it. The cop asked, "Are aware your exhaust is broken?" derp.

Another good one was when she was driving her DA9 Integra with her fog lights on. The cop thoguht it was brights and asked if they were 100 watt bulbs (They're 55w.)

1) My dad and I were driving the way back from visiting and picking up some of my wifes things from her parents house in CA in his e46 M3 when we get pulled over by a state trooper about 100 miles inside the Texas state line at around 3 pm.

We couldn't figure out what's going on at all b8t it turns out he pulled us for no front plate. The M3 is one of those cars that doesn't even have a spot for one from the factory (my e36 still doesn't have a plate on the front either). Anyway he gives us a warning and then the 3 of us sit around and chat for like an hour. Finally, since we still have about 10 hours to drive, I mention how hot it is and that he must be burning up because of the armor he's wearing and tell him to get back in his car under the AC. We drive off and have never been hassled about a front plate again.

2) For our honeymoon my dad let me take his e46 out to the Smokey Mountains. And after a week at a cabin up there the wife and I drive over to SC to visit her grandparents and uncle. One night we were going back to her grandparents place and my radar detector starts braaaping. No big deal, I'm going the speed limit, but I start looking for the cop anyway. Finally I notice a car doing a u-turn behind us on the 6 lane road we're on and I dump the detector under the seat. He proceeds to cross all the way over to the right lane to get behind me but doesn't flip his lights on. So I put my blinker on and methodically work my way to the left lane. He follows. Then I reverse the process back to the right lane. He follows. I drive another half mile or so and pull into a well lit parking lot. He follows. I tell the wife to dial 911 after we've sat for about 30 seconds with him behind us doing nothing (and with his lights off) but when she gets her phone out and turned on he makes a U and drives off.

1) Ticket for driving straight... 2 lanes straight, 2 lanes going right, but it was 3 lanes.. truck was covering up road painted sign saying middle lane was right turn only.. Fought in court and they said they dropped all charges.. When I found it was still on my record months later and asked for the court recording they "didnt keep it on file after 30 days"....

2) Ticket for careless operation because I revved my engine in a private parking lot because a friend wanted to hear it, and then drove out of the parking lot and slid a little at 1 am with no traffic but NEVER LEFT MY LANE, I kept it under control. Fought it and won since it started raining about 5 minutes earlier and all the oil on the road comes to the top... Told them they should remove the oil on the road if they didnt want people in classic cars to slide.

3) I am currently fighting something more than a ticket... I am going to press charges against the State of South Carolina for this f***up on their part!

i was taken to jail for looking at a cop. he told me not to even look at him, i looked away. he walked in my line of vision and became the angriest little cop i had ever seen and proceded to slam me onto the hood of his car. btw happened in front of my family, he tried to take my mom to jail too. case was dropped due to "insufficent" evidence

When I first got my license I got pulled over about 5 times for having Oklahoma plates on my car. It was a 94 POS Crown Vic Police Interceptor painted pastel blue (kinda looked like a methmobile). I was pulled out of the car once and lectured about how if I lived in Texas, I needed to have Texas plates. I was paying out my uncle that owned the car in Oklahoma, and he didn't give me the title until I was done paying.

I had a cop argue with me about tint laws in Texas a few weeks ago at a restaurant. He walked up to my car, pointed at the back glass and said "Isn't this way too dark?"(I have 5% on the back 3 windows) I replied "No sir, it isn't." He laughed and said "Actually, it is." I let him know that I was a state inspector and knew the laws. I assured him that you could go as dark as you wanted in the back. He dropped it.

... I did, however fail to mention that my front roll-ups @ 20% were illegal and my 8in 5% tint strip was also illegal.

I got pulled over for doing 25mph in a 20mph zone on a usually busy street during the day but this was at 3am driving home from work, not to mention some other guy in a big a** Red Dodge Ram Pickup truck with a loud a** exhaust and big meaty tires had literally cut me doing about 75mph or 80mph off 10 seconds before i got the siren to pull over.

I was 16 so had to pay:$130 court fee since I was a minor$85 speeding ticket$75 to receive my license back$50 in county taxesand I was placed in Court Ordered Supervision for 1 year

Insurance rates went up and my mom didnt let me drive for like 2months...or so she thought...lol

it was so f***ed up even the judge said that wasn't very fair but in his own words "you broke the speed limit no matter how you see it"

plus I missed school and work and sat in a lousy courtroom all day

Well I'm in south tampa driving my black 95 zenki with my girlfriend, i'm 19 she's 18, we get the red&blues behind us and I pull over. He walks up asks for my stuff, goes back to the car for 5-10 mins, his partner walks over to the car, circles around it and winds up at my window, looks in the car, stands there for a few seconds and asks "is that your girlfriend?" - I lean my head out the window pointing towards the other cop sitting in his car and say "is that your boyfriend?"turns out they just thought i was drunk driving and my s*** checked out, i was zooted but they had no idea..got off and didn't even get a warning
