A built T-56 will be more than enough for me as I don't get to the strip much at all and with the low end torque my motor is making I can't hook on 295 BFG drag radials. I smoke them down too LOL. I just simply want a transmission that shifts every time I want it too. My current one is extremely frustrating. Coming back from the Z Nationals at one point it would not go into 5th at all. This went on while I was going through a construction zone and then trying to make an exit. Then a few miles down the road it decided it would let me again. I think it just hates me. I would like to get my hands on a T-6060 though. I haven't had a chance to drive anything with one yet but I hear they are nice.

Trans are meant to be broken...... Get a spare. I am saving now towards my next..... still keeping it old school though. I did think about a TKO 5 speed though. But when I do get her at the strip a reverse full manual valvebody with trans brake will do me better
