Grant's a hater... that's nothing new.

C3Sierra_S2000, ride looks good man. It funny, cuz you're car looks like it should belong in a Nissan sports car museum... but as soon as you pop the hood, you'd probably get kicked out. lol or maybe not

I'm amused.

Considering Grant's cars are all relatively stock-bodied cars, dropped to the pavement with mad camber. Don't be fooled - He's no master fabricator.

VIP sedans aren't unique either, and anyone can drop a car 6".

Unique by stripping the interior, stupid slammage, covering it with vinyls, super sick bro bro stickers, and extended pipes? Dont get me wrong I really dig that mad max look, but some ppl act like they are unique because they followed a different trend and 13 year old kids get their panties in a twist by them...

Its like being buying a sex pistols shirt at hot topic and ripping your jeans on purpose....

Meh people just like to talk trash. Granted Yakota has his opinion......

As do I, and that opinion is that this on a streeted car is absolutely asinine,

There is no way that thing, other then sideways, transfers power to the ground. And I am sure braking is also negatively affected.

Again, it's people talking out their a$$.

None of them has seen the insane amounts of custom fabrication that went into this car. None of them saw the trick wiring harness that was purpose-built for this car. None of them have observed the attention to detail and the fact that the fit & finish was improved over Nissan's original build.

If "driving hard" means going WOT with a stock KA or SR, I'm not impressed. Throw 200 more hp at it and then come talk to me.

These are the same people that piss and moan that no one appreciates their "style" - Yet someone who puts WAY more effort into their ride comes along, and they've got all kinds of s*** to talk.

Whatever.

DriftBoy07 wrote:

So your saying only takes skill to modify the exterior of a car? I agree it takes skill, but not anyone can pull off an engine swap..especially one as clean as this.

IMHO power>interior>exterior

300RWHP was transferred to the ground very efficiently, only spinning tires when i wanted it to around turns.

Well, I think everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I doubt you'll be changing Grant's view on this car. I personally think it's an amazing piece of machinery, but then again that's my opinion.

Again, when you build anything remotely impressive, we'll be waiting.

Anything.

Engine swap, complete rewire, custom fabrication, frame-off restoration...

I'll hold my breath.

So far, all I've seen is mad camber and a wicked drop.

There's a whole slew of Latinos here in AZ that do that to every car they own.

All i have to say is i built a S/C z28 that was not nearly as custom or nice as this car, and made LESS power. But all in all OP/Photographer great job on the last picture, S14 and the bowtie, great job on the fly. Best pic of them all

its ok. when you do something remotely impressive, ill give you props

i pioneered the S chassis suspension on a y33 for guys in the US. did my trial and error to find out what works. what have you done?I was one of the first 3 guys, and the only one to do a complete how to on air bags on coiloverswhat have you doneyou may see a car with mad camber and a wicked drop. But you didnt see the 20-30 hours of work it takes to do that. Much more respectable than paying someone to do an engine swap, or even doing it yourself in a weekend. Swaps arent hard, there is a mount kit for everything, a walkthrough for damn near every engine out there.

Be the guy to make the walkthrough. ive been there, done that

Grant, you haven't paid much attention.

Most modded S13 'vert in existence... S/C my G Coupe... restoring 4 classic Dattos... Adapted disc brakes to old Datsuns... Two boosted cars, a couple old musclecar restorations, a World of Wheels contender, resto of a 49 Olds, and tons of other projects I just had a hand in (but weren't mine).

20-30 hours? LOL - I spent more than that just on intercooler piping.

You don't want to compare garages, son.

You'll get props for your drops, but that's where it ends.
