Thanks to comments such as this I now understand why all weekend at the event I heard people tell me that they didn't come to NICOforums anymore. Being a jerk doesn't make you cool. It just makes you look stupid and it harms the forum. Grow up kids. I mean really? You are critiquing a guy doing donuts? You go around in circles! How are you supposed to do that any different? I got 4 good rotations and a nice long burnout and had a great time doing it. How many folks get the chance at doing that on a NASCAR speedway? Oh and critiquing the pics? Yeah they are blurry but I wasn't taking them nor can I fix that. At least I have some proof I was there.yokota180sx wrote:i think your car looks dumband i think you suck at pictures and burnouts. but whatever

Yeah, cos you have time to change all the settings in your camera in that short of a time frame.yokota180sx wrote:real photographer would have had it set up after the first picture btw.....
F stop was at 32 because we just got done shooting for the NICO poster. Trying to get all the cars, girls, and track to look good. Tim just started ripping donuts so I just flipped the camera on and started clicking. After constantly changing the settings on the camera for pretty much an hour straight, you don't really remember exactly where they were when you first start. Really, to get these shots better I would have had to: switched from manual focus to auto, switch from soft contrast to vivid, switched the ISO to something higher, dropped the F stop, decreased the shutter time. That is a lot of s*** to do in the 10 or so seconds he was doing donuts.Dittoz7 wrote:

yesim saying with 100% certainty. it woudl have taken 2 seconds, and judging my the light available, shutter speed would be high enough to continue for the next 8 seconds at 10FPS.....anything else?PapaSmurf2k3 wrote:
