After the photo shoot for the new NICO poster I had the chance to do some victory donuts on the start / finish line of the Atlanta Motor Speedway. These were taken this past weekend at the Motorsport Nationals. Thanks James for taking these and uploading them.

Yeah we had no video gear handy and they were rushing us off the track. Unfortunately I thought the photographer was ready and he wasn't which is why the pics are blurry. It was still fun though but yeah I wish I had video.

You know I really laughed out loud. It really looks like a NASCAR. I can tell that's the most aggressive driving you've done in that car.

Thanks to comments such as this I now understand why all weekend at the event I heard people tell me that they didn't come to NICOforums anymore. Being a jerk doesn't make you cool. It just makes you look stupid and it harms the forum. Grow up kids. I mean really? You are critiquing a guy doing donuts? You go around in circles! How are you supposed to do that any different? I got 4 good rotations and a nice long burnout and had a great time doing it. How many folks get the chance at doing that on a NASCAR speedway? Oh and critiquing the pics? Yeah they are blurry but I wasn't taking them nor can I fix that. At least I have some proof I was there.

I am a firm believer that donuts are the greatest thing one can do in a RWD vehicle. Before I annihilated the engine in my s13, I did them AT LEAST once a day (I had a private cul-de-sac).

Looks like it was a lot of fun! Victory donuts must make the deal so much sweeter. I am in that neck of the woods, holler at me next time you go do mad donuts! Afterward we can go muddin, which I will take care of.

Oh, and don't worry about the quality of the pictures, I still enjoyed them!

Yeah, cos you have time to change all the settings in your camera in that short of a time frame.
Dittoz7 wrote:

F stop was at 32 because we just got done shooting for the NICO poster. Trying to get all the cars, girls, and track to look good. Tim just started ripping donuts so I just flipped the camera on and started clicking. After constantly changing the settings on the camera for pretty much an hour straight, you don't really remember exactly where they were when you first start. Really, to get these shots better I would have had to: switched from manual focus to auto, switch from soft contrast to vivid, switched the ISO to something higher, dropped the F stop, decreased the shutter time. That is a lot of s*** to do in the 10 or so seconds he was doing donuts.

I like that!

And all you haters mean to tell me that if you were Atlanta motor speed way and did donuts at the finish line, you wouldn't post pics?I call shenanigans.

Yeah it was my fault that I didn't wait for you to get ready. I just appreciate you taking them. Blurry or not you captured the moment. Thanks.

yesim saying with 100% certainty. it woudl have taken 2 seconds, and judging my the light available, shutter speed would be high enough to continue for the next 8 seconds at 10FPS.....anything else?

You guys cant tell how good of a driver someone is based on 6pictures? Jeez I am disappointed...because I can judge skill based on several pictures of someone doin donuts.

VRT drives a stock KA-powered shagged-out S13.

OP drives a pristine 400+ hp Kouki with more impressive fabrication than the entire VRT "Krew" has ever seen.

I'm pretty sure the OP could hand you a driving lesson or two - It's not too hard to drive something with 100whp.

Troll-boy.

You know this VRT kid is such an a** and I almost know what he will respond in case he sticks his nose in this thread again....

"Oh no I have a stock KA because I want it to be LEGAL, I do things right"

I think this kid and BH are like best friends or something.
